I may not know what the classical pieces are at the tail ends of this clip, but I do know that beat in between........that's the famous "Amen Break," from that Winstons song, "Amen, Brother."
It's one of the most, if not THE most, sampled break beat ever, mainly because it was never copyrighted by the original artists, so it's pretty much fair game.
I know the song at the end of this video is "Winter - Allegro non Molto" by Vivaldi, but what is the song at the beginning? It has the same chord progression as the Vivaldi piece, but not the traditional baroque version. Does anyone know what this piece/version is?
I'm so glad I found this animation by Run Wrake on YouTube. Amazing work! For more of Wrake's animations - "Jukebox" (1994) and "Rabbit" (2005) visit the LUX Collection.
this is a realy great video and i realy never watched liquid tv before because when i was little i think liquid tv wasnt on air anymore, i love ltv though and wish that it was still showing so that i could watch it as well as most of you and my father.... im trying to find all the shows here on youtube and put it on my playlist.
this is my first time seeing this. wow. im amazed. im surprised how many people actually understand this type of surreal artwork. awesomeness. thanks zappvid2.
I had a similar experience. I saw this clip once and it made a huge impression on me, too. I spent a long time trying to find it, not knowing the title or the artist.
I have a very special place in my heart for this film...I've totally loved it since "Liquid Television". This is just about my favorite short feature ever!!
I saw this on Liquid Television when I was probably in 5th or 6th grade. Looking back now it makes sense that the stuff I draw is so bizarre since I was taking in this sort of visual information.
I remember being terrified by this cartoon but still compelled to watch it all the way through. What a neat piece of work this is. Who did it?

I need to know more about this. Who made it?
Is this the entire thing or just a fragment from a longer piece?
