  • "Welcome to SHOUTcraft, your e-sports gateway drug." Hahaha

  • i like how the zerg requires an overlord to take a dump before they can build anything

  • I wonder what Jintetsu wanted at 11:45

  • if the zerg moron had taken the 100 or so oprotunities he had before he got cremated, he coulda won easy =_= news flash, if you dance your guys back and forward the whole god damn time, chances are the guys that are shooting will win

  • i have neaver seen zerg win...

  • do you know how to play sc?

  • bad zerg player.

  • purple is the manly version of pink!

  • i don't even play starcraft and i enjoy watching this...

  • "you will get the shamwow mop for free! just pay an extry $100 for shipping and handling

  • did totalbiscuit call the map the CoolAss ravine?

  • @mymrphil that or kolas ravine, my favorite starcraft map

  • 3 Collossi is absolutely boss

  • Why must the zerg die!

  • Loved this match! Great commentary as usual! Keep 'em comin TB!

  • wow, I feel like im watching a football game or sumthin :P awesome commentating

  • LOL I SEEN A SHAMWOW COMMERCIAL WATCHING THIS VID, didnt know shamwow was still around

  • Just 1 thing TB, your audio volume is kinde low. And not just in this video, had to turn it up quite a bit. Got my ears blown of when i listened to some music after this and forgot to turn down the volume, otherwise love your video's nice commentary.

  • its hard to find protos vs zerg matches .

  • Is anyone else a little irked by these symmetrical maps? In SC1 we had so many different kinds of setups for bases and landformations, here it's basically the same- mineral fields on the outside of the map, some xel naga towers in the center, with different enviornments....

  • @misteratoz a lot of the starcraft one maps in the later days were custom made, or made after the release. give them time to make more, and im sure they will.

  • Can't believe zerg guy didnt go for mutas. I would've done it the instant i saw colossi, but great game anyways

  • I love this guys commentaries. They're so enthusiastic I feel like i'm playing.

  • This game looks amazing.

  • "Right, are we gonna get any engagement or are these guys just gonna stand waving their willies at eachother, that's a good question" lol

  • @uberhalla

    lol

  • too many people play protoss now

  • @Tallytuna meh, i dont play protoss anymore, i play terran nowadays ;P /jintetsu

  • @Tallytuna that aint true man, i encounter just as many terran and zerg in ladder games

  • wow awesome sentry block and colossi control from protoss player

  • nice commentary :)

  • The singular is Colossus, as in "the colossus is slicing up those hydralisks", "he has his first colossus out" or "another colossus is heading out."

Colossi is the plural: "He has three colossi now" or "The colossi are just slicing up those hydralisks" or "the colossi have upgraded thermal lances."

  • @8DX The verb in this case, is sperg.

  • @TotalHalibut i sperged my pants

  • @8DX tosser.

  • @8DX >.> If you're going to correct someone, spell check yourself also. "he has the first of his colossi out". =/ Just saying.

  • @Moldoro No, correct is "He has his first (1) colossus out." Would you say "Out comes his first stalkers." meaning one stalker? Nowhere did I write "the first of his colossus" and all my examples show correct usage of the singular and plural forms of the noun.

If you're going to correct someone learn to read first.

And what's with replying to a 7 month-old comment? This grammatical problem was an issue ages ago, all the casters know how to use the plural of colossus now.

  • @8DX I don't actually look at post dates. I actually read it as I wrote it in my comment, I'm not actually sure why. I suppose that is how my brain read it out. It does that from time to time.

  • @8DX who gives a rat's ass what it is? you know what he means. get over it.

  • @thatswierdlol All the casters say colossus / colossi correctly now, in part thanks to "grammar police" and jerks like me annoying them in comments all those months back. Your point is?

  • @8DX i bet that it wasn't because of you.

  • @imstoned6 Yeah, sadly I heard a caster say "colossi" just today when there was only one. =) But I'm not a grammar nazi really - it was fun back then to hear the casters getting tongue-twisted (and mentally being tongue-twisted oneself) - my comment was more to get it sorted in my head myself - and everyone spamming these kinds of comments means it's no longer an issue that would distract from the game.

  • More advanced that hydralisk? I thought that hydralisk belong to this group now(in SC2) What kind of units belong to this group?(I know ultralisk which die very quickly now in patch 13).

  • @Metaspace2

"Timing is the timed production and control of all units such that a player can maximize his advantage at a certain relative game time. Having good timing means capitalizing on your current situation in the game - for example, a numerical, positional, or tech advantage. "

  • @Metaspace2 @Metaspace2 You are oversimplifying the concept. That is one of several variations on what is a rather general term. Please check the Liquipedia on TL and look up timing, you will see it covers both your explanation and mine, plus several others.

  • @TotalHalibut woo go totalbiscuit!

  • Great videos mate, been enjoying them a lot.

Sadly I haven't gotten a beta key yet so your videos are going to have to hold me over for the next couple months.

    Keep em coming :)

  • Great match, great players. Very enjoyable to watch.

  • You know the winner here was the one that was able to decide to take the decision of attaking first

  • Glad you recorded this before the Colossus nerf came down, with a quarter of their damage stripped off I wonder if this would have ended differently. Still, the reversed high ground in this map is perfect for a colossus-heavy strategy.

Once again a fine job, very easy on the ears and entertaining. Looking forward to more.

  • @Davisk0724 the "nerf" also gave them a attack speed boost so they have the same DPS

  • "Esports gateway drug" made me laugh :)

  • If the zerg player wasn't so gun sigh at the beginning he probably would of won, but deff a gg never the less

  • Great video as always TB keep up the good work.

  • I'm in the gold league with one account, plat with a friends account and watching these people just makes me cringe. If you scout the enemy base and have 6 zerglings waiting... and see 1 zealot; what the heck are you waiting for? Seriously people waiting for attacks cause they think they can win against heavy macro = lulz.

  • great video as always i literally cheered out loud at the end, great players. Good moves from both sides, the zerg ninjaing around the back was fun to watch, but the block off was equally fun >:D haha

  • Cant believe I havent heard of this channel until now!

    Well done TB! subscribed

  • Hey TB. First time writing to you on youtube and just wanting to say your videos and radio is awesome. Been listening to wcradio since 07 and continuing strong.

My love for you is geting creepy. Stop making awesome stuff

  • good stuff as always, great use of the cliff walking ability, really side stepped the zerg there. Keep it coming, although i didn't get in the beta (looking at the winners of the keys on your comp the way to do that seems to be having a ridiculous name), july the 27th isn't that far away and i'll see you on the field of battle then. Oh and by the way are you sure Zerg have "willies" to wave at the Protos?

  • @priest2001 I would imagine the Zerg would evolve a special strain called the Willielisk.

  • @TotalHalibut Lmao

  • @TotalHalibut Your videos = epic!

  • Nice shoutcraft TB as always ;)

  • Wow! Nice commentaries. Really entertaining. Subscribed.

  • Quoting from the description: "All Youtube videos from here on in are re-casts of maths that happened on the Livestream, with new commentary and smooth camera work."

OH NO! the maths are being recast!

Sorry, I realize it's a typo, but found it kinda funny.

  • Colossai seem broken.

  • I play a drinking game when I watch these videos...

Basically I drink whenever you say "I don't fancy his chances", "by any stretch of the imagination" and "gutted."

    It works.

  • what are the stats and abilities of a changeling?

  • @Vanalovan Changelings have 1 health, 0 attack and they take the form of either a Zealot, a Marine or a Zergling, depending on the race of the enemy player they first encounter. They show up as an allied unit for the enemy player, so they can only be killed manually or die when the timer runs out. They are very nice scouts in mid-game, but not very effective in high level play, since they get discovered quite easilly.

  • [8] Congratz, I coulnt get through the first 10 sec without wanting to replay! I started off with a few Starcraft 1 games with Fantasy, got into Jaedongs micro and finally onto Starcraft 2. I think crystal meth is the next step ;)

  • This was a great game, I would have liked to have been on the stream to see this live.

  • TB, just ignore the idiots on here. We all love you and we love your ISS2 and ShoutCraft videos.

  • does it ever feel weird without the emperor commenting with you?

  • @magnuskaren RTFM

  • TotalHalibuts way of saying "Terrible terrible damage" : "nasty nasty death"

  • You need to commentate the Starcraft Tournies at Blizzcon! Do it... o.o

  • how come your shoutcrafts are 1080p but notyour i suck at sc2's?

  • @ThyDoogie Would you like more or less ISS2? If you want less, than I can do 1080p, which takes 4x as long to encode and 3x as long to upload as well as at least twice as long for Youtube to process.

Somehow I doubt ISS2 warrants Full HD presentation. Geez, what is with everyone today?

  • @TotalHalibut I don't think his question was meant to offer any disrespect

  • he keeps saying biscut but the username is TotalHalibut why is he saying totalbuscit all the time? guys?

  • @GigaBoost It hasn't crossed your mind that a youtube account can have a different nickname to the person that owns it?

  • Nice subtle but effective control from the Protoss player. Really good use of the Colossi's ability to step onto the high ground, very effective when engaging at that natural expansion right beside the high ground. Some good force fields too in the initial engagement, but I tend to think he would have come out ahead with or without them.

Honestly, the zerg player was kind of annoying to watch. All he really managed to do with his mobility was run back and forth a lot.

  • Terrible Zerg player, no adaption, slow expansion, didn't take the advantage of running into his base early on and cutting apart his mineral line... he can't be platinum, just no way, a platinum player would have Mutas ready to go once he got wind of his strategy, the Zerg deserve better!

  • @JohnMD2K Everyone has bad games and it's extremely easy to criticise when you're not the one under pressure and being watched by thousands.

  • @TotalHalibut That zerg player would've absolutely crushed me :D So TotalHalibut you're right. I just got 2 wins in a row. And yesterday i was on a 5 game losing streak.

  • @TotalHalibut I've played lots of SC2 games, I've played against lots of platinum players as well (though I love FFAs), first time going up against someone who claims to have had lots of experience past and present it's worrying, but once you realise they're just as fallible as you, you don't worry and just role with it. It's hard to understand (for me personally) why someone would feel pressure on a game where nothings riding on it, like a huge sum of money for instance.

  • Keep up with the "I Suck At StarCraft II" set too.

  • Great match, but the Zerg player screwed up badly.

Against Protoss backed up by Colossi, any Zerg player who wants to win should get some Corruptors. They are the only units that can take out Colossi without suffering huge casualties in return. Their range allows them to snipe them from a distance without getting shott down by stalkers.

  • I liked Jintetsu's use of the high ground with regards to the Colossi. To prevent a surround on them by speedlings he moves them up the cliffs and rains down laser doom upon them.

  • Awesome video like always, keep 'em coming! :D
