the SL8 is the modified Civilian version of the G36. internally they work the same,though the SL8 has a modified magwell that wont accept the larger 30 round magazines.

however this is airsoft, so its about 50% compatible parts-wise with the BE G36K.

This gun is absolute garbage. We got it in at the store that i work, and could hardly get rid of it. The internal barrel is glued in so you can't put a tight bore in, and not to mention, it feels really cheap. Just save the extra 50 bucks and get an echo.

Dude...I know how to work the gun.

The machinery worked because you could hear it, as if it should be firing but it wouldn't.

At first it was the magazine ..when the mag went into the gun the free-release didn't go off so even though it was all wound up with tension, the BB's weren't moving up.

I fixed that.. but it still wouldn't fire...the only time it did fire it spit out about 8 BB's in a little clump that just kinda fell to the floor.

Moral: Gettin into airsoft?..then pay more

I warm you all BOOTH ELPHANT SUCKS! I bought this gun for 70 euros to try because I like the sl8 and it broke after 20 shots, the battery that I use on my JG steyr aug lasts about 1 hour after cherged for 4 H. This is the worst shit ive ever see, the plactic is ugly and as you take it in your hand it only make you regret even more from buying the gun.

I have a DE UMP on my team, well, used to. He is a total UMP fanatic, so he bought a DE UMP and after 5 skirmishes he already go stripped gears and wiring fried at once too. Him, being the total UMP fanatic he is, he bought the G&G UMP. He's had 10 skirmishes and no problems. And you say DE comes with the exact same thing that G&G does? Are you serious... Because high ends basically already come with almost everything you need.He got the DE from airsplat (new version is good).He got the G&G from AirsoftGI.A set of new gears could be $60.New wiring is $15.A 6.03 tightbore is $40.A better motor (G&G has crazy good motors.)Is $40-60.That plus a $110 DE UMP is equivalent to a G&G UMP. Thats around the $230-300 dollar range with all those upgrades on the DE UMP. Where you can get a G&G which comes with all that for $245 plus totally awesome externals.
