Yeah, I know - I just put there my cousin's first reaction when I showed her some Ray Davies thing on youtube. It's funny, I've never looked at him like at a old man, and her remark struck me as odd, but if I come to think of it, she's right, I mean, time doesn't forgive anyone, physically. His talent though hasn't turned mellow at all, sharp, crisp and nostalgic as always.

What i like about him, from the performances I see on youtube, unfortunately I have never seen live nor do I have any hopes to, is that great attitude he has on stage. He makes himself liked by the public, you get the feeling that there really is an 'ordinary man'- short, bald, old and funny- on stage, telling you, the viewer, all this things... He is obviously anything but an ordinary man, but this trick is is something that only great artists, and very fine people can do. Thank you, Mr Davies
