  • I'm amazed..please keep them coming!

  • This is an informative video worth watching.

  • 'definately' skip to 10:00

  • The identity will always exist, 'cause in cases like Bogotá, the public spaces are vitals and there's where cultural manifestations take place.

Culture is not just music and dances, culture is also the laws, that conditions the people behavior, and obviously, the way people acts with each other...

There's a lot more to be said, urbanism is a huge topic, and I'm just talking from my experience... And yes, I live in Bogotá.

And excuse my english by the way..

  • In order to get a competitive city, it's imperative to get a mix of people, urban uses and urban dynamics.

Obviously, poor people is a big problem in cities like Bogotá, their houses are usually illegal, the urban politics in Bogotá pretend to reorder, not displace, people.

Together with educational, civics efforts, the aim is to link everyone with everything, solving social and economical problems in some ways...

  • Mockus, the next president of Colombia. Mockus a visionary that has transformed Bogota, and will transform Colombia. Colombians have awaken.

  • go mockus president

  • go mockus president

  • go mockus

  • go mockus

  • There is a lot to be said about this video. I hope these plans do not become displacement of poor people and social problems through the banner of modernization and green urbanism... the cities of our latin american nations have an identity which cannot be lost. Some of these identities are found through the different economic levels. Moving or displacing people is a dangerous move. Cultural values can be lost in the search of internationalization of a city. (case studies, turkey and Egypt)

  • @ngr7000 It is not the case of Bogotá.

  • @ngr7000 You have no clue how was Bogota before Mockus. Have you ever been there?

  • @ngr7000 i think the goal is not internationalization, i look at it as a alternative way to change human behavior, in the values of right and wrong, an issue we all agree, and understand .Human rights and moral believes are principles that regulate our lives to an inner level; principles that instead of change cultural values, make us think about cultural behavior ,a bad behavior is a wrong behavior .anywhere
