@odindahle There are clear hip hop and techno beats in a lot of their music. You can't put Jaga Jazzist in a box, their style is too eclectic.

a reply that's long oveerdue, but the genre is called Post Rock (this band's placement in it is arguable). Similar bands I'd look into might include 65daysofstatic, Friends In The Mountains, Godspeed You Black Emperor, An Album Leaf, Explosions in the Sky, and Gifts From Enola
