As for your comment on CGI and Avatar - no where did I say that "CGI is the problem". I said "far too much reliance on CGI". Jurassic Park, and its sequels, still hold up today because they had the correct balance between CGI and live-action.

Avatar does look nice when its 100% cgi - as an animated film - but it looses it with the live action. Far too much blue/green screen.
