Even though I was ALWAYS JP/C, I totally fell in love Spike :).

He was most definitely my 2nd favorite character on the show, he always had the best comebacks and one liners and way of looking at life (and that SMILE! Guh!).

Strangely Kieron's the same. I was waiting for Craig to come back for the Sunset Ending, but Kieron was my 2nd favorite character once Spike left. I wish they could have been kept in the show and not just as plot devices, they had good stories and personalities :)

I liked Spike. Hearted him, but I agree he and JP were never going to last. And as much of an ass as Craig was to JP, Sarah and everyone else within his orb, I sympathized with what he was going through, he really had a underlying sweetness and vulnerbility and the actors playing JP and Craig just blazed when they were together. You really couldn't help but want JP & Craig together.

God that was hard to watch. I don't like to watch John Paul kissing anyone but Craig. As for spike never liked him, too much of a smug, cocky man for my liking. The only person he was ever really nice to and not take the piss out of them was JP. And of course we know the reason for that! Would he and JP have lasted if Craig hadn't realised how he felt about JP. HELL NO! JP/spike are not a forever couple they are a for now couple until someone else comes along for either of them. Craig BEST MAN!

I don'tthink looks is what makes you love some one. My mother tells me my boyfriend is so ulgy and I can do better. yet I believe him to me great looking. I think craig is good looking but I think Jp thinkhe great looking. I do feel for spike you can tell he knew hewas losing jp and it was hurting him.I guess that why they say love is a risk you never know if your going to win or lose. I miss craig and Jp whish they would come back or that hollyoaks would run in the USA.

Even as a straight female I just don't get it - Craig, troll faced nasty, selfish, self worshiping whiner who continuously treats JP like shit, vs Spike, beautiful, patient, kind, funny who obviously really loves JP (although tries to hide it), know who I'd choose...however, suppose you can't help who you fall in love with and who you think is good looking is just a matter of personal taste I guess! totaly agree, craig is soooo not good enough for JP but despite that, they had this great chemistry together. However, I really perfer Keiron to Spike. Even though Keiron and JP don't have that great chemistry, he is much better for John paul than craig.
