Yeah, I don't get it...why not just use your thumb on the A? That way you can get the actual riff... Where does the g-sharp come in?...unless you've retuned that string? Maybe I'm just missing something. Try it without the g-sharp, it'll be easier to sing to. Hope you didn't pay too much for that sheet music. I like the Jonathan Richman vibe though.
