only problem with low cuts is that if you are used to the high cut shoes you feel scared to be intense in playing.

the only problem with high tops is that your ankles get used to the support that when you go to a low top shoe your ankle will not fully support your body movement. that is why i am dead set against using tape on your feet. whenever you play ball without your tape you have more of a chance of rolling your ankle because the ankles are not used to the freedom of movement

good for kobe.. i've been playing hoops with mids and lows my whole life and my ankles are fine.

People only roll there ankles by landing awkwardly not by wearing low tops, the shoes look nice regardless.
