@nicerperson None of the Gospels can claim to recover every single event in the life of Jesus. Instead, the 4th Gospel seeks to emphasize that the events were too many to record. It is obvious that the writers of the Gospels could write down only the tradition that was available to them. Furthermore, they could not write down everything they knew about Jesus for they were writing on material that were very limited in length. The Quran isn't copying but it tells the story in it's pristine form.

The miracles that are mention in the Gospels are no more verifiable than the miracles mention in the biographical literature of the prophet Muhammed called the Seerah and Hadith. You'll find some 300 miracles mention in the Hadith that happen to the prophet, a far greater number than any miracles mention about any prophet recorded in the Bible.

@REELISTICLY The Hadith were not written 200 years later but if you read the book written by Johnathan Brown you will find that Hadith begun to be written during and towards the end part of the life of prophet Muhammed. As for the moon splitting, this is a miracle that God did and then put it back together again in it's original condition, so scientist can't prove it anyway since it in it's original condition.

@Nazam44 Every Prophet was given miracles, because of the low faith people had, they kept asking for miracles, the miracle that Jesus (Peace be Upon Him) was born without a father was not as much a miracle as Prophet Adam (PBUH) being born without a mother or father. Yes, Jesus (PBUH) was given the ability to speak at a young age and heal, however other Prophets such as Jonah (PBUH) was alive in the belly of a whale for 3 days and 3 nights and then spat out. The miracle of Islam is the Qur'an.
If you are directly comparing Jesus (PBUH) to Muhammad (PBUH) in regards to miracles, then lets look at the miracle they left with the people, the Qur'an which has been unchanged since revelation from God, whereas the original Injil revealed to Jesus has been distorted many times over to suit the society needs.
Because the Injil (Gospel of Jesus) was distorted it was necessary to send a final Prophet to clarify the right way, the straight path, thus the Qur'an was sent...

I don't find this story inside the OT. And Jude lived way over a 1000 yrs to have known Moses during his lifetime. Moreover the way Jude mention the story, it assumes that the readers are already familiar with The Assumptions of Moses.or the story at least.

The infant stories of Jesus, the speaking from the womb and crib, the hoopoo bird and the queen of sheba, the men sleeping in the cave etc. etc. A vast difference between repeating fairy stories or referring to oral traditions of the prophets. Can't you see the difference? These stories repeated in the Koran actually exist, these stories are known to be fiction, so its not an unprovable claim.

@Nazam44 Apocryphal is not a synonym for believable. What about Moses parting the sea? Jesus contolled the sea too, a prophet like Moses. There are pseudographica, forgeries and romances. Their believability is whether the book was accepted as canoninical by the early church and whether its teachings match up to the rest of scripture. The infancy gospels are provable inventions compared to the four gospels in the bible. There are many so called gospels out there, but they are false.

Just like the story found in Jude about Moses' burial would be to many people a pious Jewish story. The Christians who read the Qur'an did not believe that this story about Jesus was a forge since the Quran assumes that they were already familiar with the account. What the Quran does is to draw the conclusion that Jesus perform his miracles by the leave of God.

However, what people have notice is that the Quran does not copy the mythical and fable elements whether it's in the Bible or anywhere else. But if we look at how the Quran deals with the stories, we'll notice that the facts are ONLY maintain and the fables are cut out.

I was writing a huge reply but will cut it short, those books are not true, but the stories are copied, changed in the koran to give an Islamic slant. eg. Jesus speaks from the cradle "I am a messenger of Allah!" instead of "Mary, I am Jesus the Son of God ...!" from the forged "THE FIRST GOSPEL OF THE INFANCY OF JESUS CHRIST" it just proves that Muhammad or those around him were aware of these false gospels and assumed it's what christians believed. Like God, Mary and Jesus being the trinity.

@nicerperson None of the Gospels can claim to recover every single event in the life of Jesus. Instead, the 4th Gospel seeks to emphasize that the events were too many to record. It is obvious that the writers of the Gospels could write down only the tradition that was available to them. Furthermore, they could not write down everything they knew about Jesus for they were writing on material that were very limited in length. The Quran isn't copying but it tells the story in it's pristine form.

In other words the books that were not eventually included in the canon cannot be said to be completely fictitious. Otherwise using your logic we would have to also reject certain books of the Bible. John says that he knew about stories which he choose not to record but he considered them to be equally authoritative. Moreover, The Bible shows parallels to some of these stories (Judg 9:8-15). We have trees having a meaningful conversation with each other.

It is quite impressive to see Muslims use the Bible to prove the Prophethood of Muhammad. The miracles that are mention in the Gospels are no more verifiable than the miracles mention in the biographical literature of the prophet Muhammed called the Seerah and Hadith. You'll find some 300 miracles mention in the Hadith that happen to the prophet, a far greater number than any miracles mention about any prophet recorded in the Bible.

@REELISTICLY The Hadith were not written 200 years later but if you read the book written by Johnathan Brown you will find that Hadith begun to be written during and towards the end part of the life of prophet Muhammed. As for the moon splitting, this is a miracle that God did and then put it back together again in it's original condition, so scientist can't prove it anyway since it in it's original condition.

However when Americans went to the moon, in their report it stated that the Moon appeared to have a black belt round it and it was symetrically positioned on the Moon; the conclusion was that the black belt round the Moon could have only come if the moon was split before and put back together. If God wanted to split the moon in half and then put it back together again in it's originally form, he could do that. @FutureExposed I've read the Koran and recognise some of the stories, some from the gnostics gospels, some from the protoevangellion of James, some from jewish apocrypha, some from arabian fairy tales. Its not the work of a man, its a collaboration between men and jinn to replace the true good news (gospel or evangel)

@nicerperson I've read the New Testament and recognise some of the stories, some from the Martyrdom of Isaiah Heb (11:37), some from the Assumption of Moses (Jude 1:9), some from the book of Enoch (Jude 1:14). @Nazam44 Just to add, we Muslims love Jesus (PBUH), he is the messenger and servant of God, his return will confirm the belief to follow message of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), he will defeat the anti-Christ and soon after judgement day will arrive, where our souls are raised up to be questioned, fairly and justly, putting in balance our sins and deeds, we will be sufficient to judge ourselves as our sins and deeds will be displayed in front of us.

@chicagotail It goes both ways, You don't accept Jesus as the Son of God because of a Book that was written by the followers of Muhammad. I just don't see Almighty God choosing Muhammad to be the Seal of Prophets if you compare Jesus to Muhammad, their lifestyle, their murders, their cures, their Miracles their message.

When the angel pressed violently on Muhammad according to Bukhari did not say he was Gabriel, it was Khadija who told him he was a Prophet and her Uncle that it was Gabriel LOL. @REELISTICLY Would that mean that when God (Almighty) uses rhetoric in the Bible that He doesn't know the answer? You obviously missed the bit that when rhetoric is used and when questions are asked or commands are given, that they intent to educate, strengthen themessage unto the recipient party. Besides the Quran is CURRENTLY memorised by aprox. 10 million Muslims. So when people can memorise a whole book, why can't you believe they could memorise the Ahadeeth?

@safraznabi The current Pope Ratzinger was in the Hitler Youth, in the same way as nearly every other boy of his age in Germany at that time. He was not a German Nazi officer and never ordered anyone to their death. Get your facts right. Also Jews do not wait for the second coming at all, they don't believe the Messiah has come once and in fact think it is now too late because of certain prophesies.

@REELISTICLY hadiths didnt come about 200 years after muhammed pbuh they where always there from when he was alive, there is information about this. chains of narration. and where there is a break in the chain then the hadith becomes lower in strength, but doesnt make it incorrect. also the hadith, Must not go against what the quran says. and the hadiths that arent broken in naration do not go against the quran. not just satan, but not anybody can write a book like the Quran.

@REELISTICLY if the quran was possible to have been written by any other than Allah then the arabs of the time of muhammed pbuh, when confronted with the challange, to right a single surah like the quran ,wood have produced it. because they where trying to stop Muhammed, they could hav stopped him from preaching, if they had come up with a surah like the quran.yet they had a war three times where the defenders where the muslims, never the aggressers.why all that trouble?they where the best poets

@REELISTICLY they where the best poets of there time, they would actually celibrate when one of them would write a good poem. but they couldnt write a single chapter, the smallest being about ten words. that was all they had to do and the challenge still stands today. watch a few lectures and you will get the picture, it is definitly not a satanic Book. would the devil curse himself and praise God? even if the devil could have written such a book,which like i explained it is imposibble.

@REELISTICLY when we talk about miracles, and we hear of the stories of moses splitting the water, and jesus walking on water, and Muhammed having water running from his fingers when the companions were dying of thirst.or the spliting of the moon, or moses throwing his staff to the ground and it turned into a snake. @REELISTICLY there are 2 chapters in the quran that talk about some miracles of muhummed pbuh QAMAR, ISRA. this proves you have no common sense you says scientists have debunked it by saying no one saw it. apply logic only half the world is dark at a time, the moon is only seen 2/3 of the night, its always cloudy in parts of the world and there is a timein chinese history called the year when the moon splitted which was around the same time.

@exposemyfoes 1st off, Jesus did die & thats the whole point in crucifying sin & without that, there is no christianity. 2nd I dont think muhummad dwelt during his time to say that Jesus didnt die & resurrect himself vs the many witnesses that wrote the bible. Who would die for something that they know is false? Some or all of the disciples of Jesus were slain becuz of proclaiming Jesus's diety.

You said where does it say in the bible "where does it say "I Am God Worship Me"? When Jesus was being tempted by the devil he said that we should worship God only & Jesus also said "Worship God in Spirit & in truth. Then throughout the whole bible, why does he recieves worship? "And those who were in the boat worshiped Him, saying, "You are certainly God’s Son!"
