I LOVE carousel band organ music. I ran a large carousel at a small park in Fresno CA for years, playing CD's of it all day long. I have many different organ CD's and many different songs. That's a FAST carousel! Likely 10-12 MPH!
@koriina There are a few ones as fast or faster than that one. Kennywood Park in Pittsburgh PA has a big Dentzel that goes 15 MPH. I rode it nearly 20 years ago. You can really feel lateral G forces sitting on the outside horses.
I don't think that a restored Ruth organ playing Ruth scale music is annoying... then again, the recordings they play are of the Ruth organ playing B.A.B. music... I can see how that would be annoying! If you search Youtube for "ruth 36 konzertorgel" or "ruth 36er" you will see videos of organs of the same model playing the original scale including some very impressive musical arrangements.
Oh, I was just fine with the music. It's the workers I was worried about there. I go bonkers when I listen to any song at all too much, and they don't exactly have a choice in the matter, haha.
