F this game...I LOVE Halo, but Halo 2 is my least favorite...mainly because I'm beast at 1 3 odst and Reach...beat them all on Legendary easily..then I go to Halo 2 and try legendary and get raped... :P

I beat the part from 4:00 to the end and I got through to the part where you get the shotgun from the armory master but the habitat area after that took me a while...on the 10th try I rage quit without saving and now I have to start over from 4:00 :(
I beat this game on Legendary by myself without doing the infinite camo glitch. It took me about two weeks; would have been shorter if it weren't for those damn Jackal Snipers. Other than that, I just used the noob combo throughout the whole campaign.

@tioscha0 I thought the level where you save cortana was divided into two levels. but that was the only level in halo 3 that gave me trouble. not saying there weren't some tough spots in halo 3, but some levels i didn't die at all, and some i only died at the most 2 times. and to clear up my comment i meant in that ranking from hardest to easiest.

Finally, the levels that involve Arbiter are the ones that you're gonna have to put effort in, since the infinate camo glitch only works on Chief. Overall thats how you do it, if any of you have any questions about the glitch just message me. BTW yeah this is cheap to very core, but you can be legit and go through the levels normally. It will take time that way, but at least it would be legit. This method is just if you want to be quick, except the Arbiter levels though. :)

If done right, you have infinate active camo. You stay like throughout the whole level, they won't even shoot you when you're using a vehicle. Pretty much you have to do Delta Halo on legendary to get the skull before playing other levels and repeating the process over and over again. out of space*

When the level starts, you need to turn on the active camo just when your about to hit a checkpoint. Like 1 or 2 seconds at the most, unfortunately the camo only lasts for 5 seconds and another 10 to replenish. Basically just time it right, might take a few tries. After that, you save and quit. When at the menu turn off the xbox. Shit I said something wrong previously.
You guys want to know the cheapest way to beat Halo 2 on legendary? Play "Delta Halo" on legendary normally until you get to where the Envy skull spawns.(allows MC to have active camo instead of flashlight) Make sure to have a good checkpoint before picking it up. Once active you save and quit, but only once at that time so that every time you get on the game you would start from there to pick up the skull again. *shit I'm running out of space, gotta post another comment to continue*
Halo 2 is very hard on legendary I will agree, the whole Cairo station level is hard especially the hangar fights after that it gets easier, also without the frequent save points every boss fight turns into a try and die affair. The Arbiter missions arent that hard but the ones with the Chief are, snipers will kil you in one hit during the new mombasa shootout and I have to say Halo 1 was easier on legendary except for the Truth and Reconciliation level (hardest halo level I think)

Actually, the more I watch this video, the more I don't believe this is Legendary mode. Sorry man, but in Legendary mode, 3 hits kill on Halo 2. If it is, then wow, great work, but seeing that I am playing it now, and I am a very good gamer, I just don't buy this.

the only weapons are listed here in order found: UNSC: battle rifle smg magnum shotgun Covenant: plasma rifle plasma pistol needler and yet of all 7 weapons he chose a plasma pistol and a battle rifle.
halo 2 is better than halo 3 because you fight elites, fight folld thats stronger and has energy shields, and brutes much harder to kill. also you can dual wield needlers for quick kills
@yohiunknown But to be honest in Halo 3: You can easily defeat a brute on any difficulty using the noob combo :P Hence the name, "noob combo", a shot gun blast followed by a melee and another shotgun blast will kill a brute. And it's even easier with a plasma pistol/br or carbine.

NO mods. and with A BUNCH OF DEATHS!!!!!!! and most of them by elites with energy swords and sniper jackels. this level is impossible without the noob combo because of no snipers =.=

wanna know how? fight the very first battle and pick up dual plasma rifles.the proceed to hanger 1. kill all the enimes and swap your rifles for dual needlers. fire into the eniems that break open the door. hanger 2 is REALLY HARD. your best hope is to try and take out their shields with dual plasma rifles and headshot then with battle rifle
That was F***** professional! Thx for the tips! I was never able to get past the second stage of invading aliens (on legendary) until I saw this video. Very smart using the alien pistol with the rifle.
@as101345207 Um, I suppose it's a matter of opinion...But that part is widely regarded as the hardest part on legendary. It's considered as a skill mark, in the sense that if you can get past it, then you can definitely finish the rest of the game. I beat the whole game on legendary, and I can confirm that that was the part I had the hardest time with.
@esotericagenda lol I was jumpy, I didnt mean easiest, i meant not one of the hardest. For me, since I'm a much better shooter than driver, I usually get killed while driving, so those are the hardest parts in legendary for me, the horrible driver, hheheh its all opinions.
But what I do to beat this part easily is carrying like 5 or 6 plasma pistols from the first loading bay ( first one is easier because you have that door where you came form before for cover) to the hall that has the gun. thx

That took me quite a while...If I recall correctly, I stopped at the little building and picked up the sniper rifle and rocket launcher, and then I had to do a whole bunch of clearing out of all the enemys and vehicles...I believe I had to clear out just enough of the enemys so I could drive past all of em real fast and barely survive. Yeah, I had a pretty hard time with that...Damn, thinking about all this makes me wanna play Halo 2 again! :D
@mad0liver lol i finished the entire missions with nothing but a pistol, it is defiently possible. (but dnt tell anyone i used that pistol to melee sargent johnson to all my fights and i got him to kill them for me, seargant johnson can't die for storyline reasons)
@superhero759 In truth its very very VERY hard to beat it without using it. In fact I just did it and had to restart 20 times just to make sure the grunts dropped grenades because standard weapons simply dont work with 15 double gunned elites. This is a smart strategy as there really is not much else that can be done
@mad0liver Unbelievably hard to take down the boarding parties. I can't believe how rough it is. Just got it today (had it for Xbox years ago) and working on Legendary and it far exceeds Reach/CE/3 so far on Legendary.
@lipnoodle117 Fully charged paslma pistol followed by a weapon swap to the a Br ot carbine and 1 shot to the head and hes down. All happens in 3 seconds
without noob combo, this level is almost impossible. Their shileds recharge too damn fast, and they shoot so fast, and battle rifles suck unlesss you take otu their shields first, and there are a lot of ultras near the boarding part, and this is really hard, but it is fun to pick up the skull quit the level and go on the next level set it to easy and kill all of the ultras easily xD
yeah, I have done it myself throughout the whole level without the plasma pistol, rather I use a plasma rifle to take down the elite shields, then I use the battle rifle but I died a few times.
this is legendary, only on legendary in the 2nd hanger part will a group of only zealots and golden elite with energy sword come out

Halo 3. Hardest level: The Covenent. Easiest level: Floodgate.
Halo 3: ODST. Hardest level: Kizingo Boulevard. Easiest level: Uplift Reserve
Halo Reach. Hardest level: Pillar Of Autumn. Easiest level: Nightfall
Halo: CE. Hardest level: Keys. Easiest level: 343 Guilty Spark.
Halo 2. Hardest level: Gravemind. Easiest level: Outskirts.

halo 2 is better than halo 3 because you fight elites, fight folld thats stronger and has energy shields, and brutes much harder to kill. also you can dual wield needlers for quick kills

@yohiunknown But to be honest in Halo 3: You can easily defeat a brute on any difficulty using the noob combo :P Hence the name, "noob combo", a shot gun blast followed by a melee and another shotgun blast will kill a brute. And it's even easier with a plasma pistol/br or carbine.

@guitarhero3playaz986 i have tried this level and every other level on legendary. i finished them all with NO glitches. NO skipping fights. NO mods. and with A BUNCH OF DEATHS!!!!!!! and most of them by elites with energy swords and sniper jackels. this level is impossible without the noob combo because of no snipers =.=

@yohiunknown It's not impossible, it's just so unlikely that you'd pass the level in a reasonable amount of time if you didn't use it.

wanna know how? fight the very first battle and pick up dual plasma rifles.the proceed to hanger 1. kill all the enimes and swap your rifles for dual needlers. fire into the eniems that break open the door. hanger 2 is REALLY HARD. your best hope is to try and take out their shields with dual plasma rifles and headshot then with battle rifle

That was F***** professional! Thx for the tips! I was never able to get past the second stage of invading aliens (on legendary) until I saw this video. Very smart using the alien pistol with the rifle.

@as101345207 Um, I suppose it's a matter of opinion...But that part is widely regarded as the hardest part on legendary. It's considered as a skill mark, in the sense that if you can get past it, then you can definitely finish the rest of the game. I beat the whole game on legendary, and I can confirm that that was the part I had the hardest time with.

@esotericagenda lol I was jumpy, I didnt mean easiest, i meant not one of the hardest. For me, since I'm a much better shooter than driver, I usually get killed while driving, so those are the hardest parts in legendary for me, the horrible driver, hheheh its all opinions.
But what I do to beat this part easily is carrying like 5 or 6 plasma pistols from the first loading bay ( first one is easier because you have that door where you came form before for cover) to the hall that has the gun. thx

@esotericagenda Yeah, the driving part in outskirts is hard, when you get past the shadows (Shadows isnt it?) they always hit you.
Banshee parts are easier for me.
Banshees feel more maneuverable.

@as101345207 Oh yeah, now I remember that part! That took me quite a while...If I recall correctly, I stopped at the little building and picked up the sniper rifle and rocket launcher, and then I had to do a whole bunch of clearing out of all the enemys and vehicles...I believe I had to clear out just enough of the enemys so I could drive past all of em real fast and barely survive. Yeah, I had a pretty hard time with that...Damn, thinking about all this makes me wanna play Halo 2 again! :D

It is when you combinate an overcharged shot from a Plasma Pistol with any other weapon, preferably Carbines and Battle Rifles.

@mad0liver lol i finished the entire missions with nothing but a pistol, it is defiently possible. (but dnt tell anyone i used that pistol to melee sargent johnson to all my fights and i got him to kill them for me, seargant johnson can't die for storyline reasons)

@superhero759 In truth its very very VERY hard to beat it without using it. In fact I just did it and had to restart 20 times just to make sure the grunts dropped grenades because standard weapons simply dont work with 15 double gunned elites. This is a smart strategy as there really is not much else that can be done

@mad0liver Unbelievably hard to take down the boarding parties. I can't believe how rough it is. Just got it today (had it for Xbox years ago) and working on Legendary and it far exceeds Reach/CE/3 so far on Legendary.

without noob combo, this level is almost impossible. Their shileds recharge too damn fast, and they shoot so fast, and battle rifles suck unlesss you take otu their shields first, and there are a lot of ultras near the boarding part, and this is really hard, but it is fun to pick up the skull quit the level and go on the next level set it to easy and kill all of the ultras easily xD

yeah, I have done it myself throughout the whole level without the plasma pistol, rather I use a plasma rifle to take down the elite shields, then I use the battle rifle but I died a few times.
