  • Hey everybody...Don't take life too seriously because you don't get out of it alive...

  • I'm sorry I remember all the comics esp Joan Rivers who is such a hypocrate making and doing bad and tasteless remarks just for a laugh. I founded all in bad taste and mean period.

  • this is in such bad taste!! Very disrespectable to the memory and talant of Elizabeth Taylor

  • When it was made all those years ago, she was still much alive and attracting attention of comics, so it really wasn't disrespecting her memory. However, everyone is entitled to an opinion, and everyone has different tastes. Fortunately, you need never watch it again. Have a nice day.

  • Hillarious!

  • Personally I thought it was spot on for both of them, especially Taylor. It made me laugh harder than I thought it would after reading the comments here, lol.

  • This isn;t funny just stupid!!

  • I found this skit in very poor taste. Instead, in real life, it hurt both Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton more than people will ever know. Elizabeth ate and drank more. Richard drank more and not long after this skit was aired he died. People don't seem to realize how much fat and drunk jokes can push someone over the edge, even to suicide. I ought to know. I am one of those people who have understood Elizabeth and Richard very well for many, many years.

  • @TheJohnlennongirl Really? They saw this? Are there are quotes where they spoke about it? I do agree with you it is in bad taste.

  • That really pissed me off to watch!!!it wasn't funny at all!!it was just making fun of poor innocent Liz Taylor the whole time!!who ever thought this was funny is a rude jealous freaking cow!since when was Elizabeth Taylor ever fat??she always has had a beautiful flawless figure!!I genuinely hated this video!btw.even if I was a Liz hater I wouldn't find this funny it was just freaking pathetic!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Brilliant!

  • he looks like harrison ford lol

  • so funny.

  • my favorite paragon skit =]

  • The funniest bit to me is that he wears a Becket costume like it's his regular clothes.

  • this is sooo mean to both of them this isnt even true about both of them wth!!

  • Mere Charlatans!!!! Pathetic...!

  • This is not funny at ALL.......really pathetic humo(u)r

  • this is the funniest shit i have ever seen!!! Love liz and dick as a couple!

  • This is great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • John Paragon and Suzanne Kent are hilarious! Great skit. I remember seeing live onstage and it always killed!

  • These are horrible impressions. Especially Richard's.

  • I don't think John was trying for a "real" impression. Its more of a parody, a ludicris over the top goofy skit. Some folks like it, some folks don't. Thanks for the comments in any event. :)

  • @DalGoda1 I've sent this vid along to so many friends, and they all howl with laughter. I don't see what everyone is complaining about!

  • Yes but someone must be very jealous of her as she was very famous but then she did put on weight so that is true- but then there are worse people in reality who never seem to attract attention.

  • FUNNY CLIP - HOW IT REALLY WAS

  • He looks like Rupert Everett aged up in the opening scenes of "Another Country" and wavers vocaly between Vincent Price and Rex Harrison - neither of which is exactly right. 'She' looks like Michael Chiklis in drag. the script is dire, the performances embarassing. For a realy witty take on The Burtons try Diana Rigg & Tony Britton in a sketch called Suite In Three Keys instead.

  • Honestly, I think it was just done as sheer camp. Yes, the impressions and likenesses are poor, but it always made me smile. Especially when he drags himself across the room after their "make up sex". :)

I like Diana Rigg, so I'll have to hunt for the sketch you suggested. Thanks!

  • I feel like a real sourpuss but in the absence of even a whisper of irony how can it be camp? The Diana Rigg seies aired in the UK around 1975/76.

    Good hunting.

  • How about chalking it up "to each his own"? :) I'm sure its not everyone's cup of tea. I think its campy cause its so over the top and cartoon-like (in my opinion).

  • No class and almost no talent.

  • that guy is amazing!

  • Excellent!! Though I love liz and richard, I must admit it is brilliant!

Thanks a lot for posting this.

  • wonderful!! Who are they??
