As much as the Sikhs have helped the UK, it also must be remembered that a large percentage of that very army had Rajputs. Rajputs must not be forgotten even if their presence is not as high in Britain!

I lost a best friend and colleague a few years back. His name was Kulwant Saikhon and he was a Sikh. He was a smashing fellow and very proud to be Sikh. I still haven't got over this loss :(
A coach full of people from work attended his cremation, and we were invited to attend a ceremony at his local temple afterwards, which he helped to build incidentally. We were greeted with amazing hospitality, even though we were all your typical white non-religious folk. It was a very moving experience.

Sikhs are awesome. That is all.

People are missing the point.
Eltham was labelled as racist because its residents were white, despite doing the exact same thing the Sikhs (rightfully) did.

As far as i'm concerned, Sikhs are eternally welcome in this country. I admire their spirit and loyalty, and genuinely regard them as brothers.

Damn straight.
It's nice to be able to say that with complete sincerity, given all the problems we face here in the UK.
