Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince Movie Review

I couldn't stand this movie simply because they did the romance between Harry and Ginny all wrong and it just kept bothering throughout the entire thing. I felt it messed up the pace of the movie :/

i thought this was the best and it was probalbly one of the most epic films i've ever seen, and the ending which was altered was still perfect in my opinion. Im a pretty big harry potter fan, i mean i dont walk around telling everyone and wearing harry potter clothing but im a huge fan, ive read the books and watched the movies and i felt this one was the best, next to deathly hallows.

I think the primary problem with "The Half Blood Prince" is much like the book it's based on, there is no immediate threat and no antagonist to work opposite our heroes. In a movie franchise like this, you need that otherwise the question you're going to ask as a movie viewer is "Well, where's the danger?".......

The danger is looming on the horizon, which is all fine and well in novel form, but within the construct of a movie format, it doesn't always translates effectively.....

I feel the I'm the only one who loved this! These characters are great, and this movie really gave them a chance to develop! Wayy better then the crap that was Order of the Phionex

This movie so sucked! I mean, I feel like I grew up with Harry, and this was just so (I don't even wanna say high school) middle school! Oh I love him but I cant tell him bc he likes her but she's not good enough for him bullshit! I agree it's like saved by the bell with magic and thats rly sad bc I liked saved by the bell bc I knew what i was getting into, childish drama, but harry potter movies are supposed to be EPIC not whatever this was. i'm so mad i actually went to the theater to watch it

i was reading about the directors PoV they said that the reason why there wasnt much wand waving if u read the book they talk about a giant fight at the end but the director didnt want that because he wanted it to lead up to the next TWO FILMS thats why i am currenty reading the last book and i promise you will get ur wishes a lot of fucking action and killing haha

Also, I watched Saved by the Bell....loved that show. Zach was hot! You guys seem to know a lot about this Harry Potter stuff...big kids I think. The 7th book is going to be made into two movies. There are two reasons:

1) Harry Potter movies are mad money for Hollywood.

2) It's getting harder to cram the stories into 2-3 hours, which is what I personally find most annoying about the recent HP movies.

That said, this was probably my favorite of the series except for possibly the third one.

i have to say that at least the movie had the principal point the book tried to portray which was the destruction of horcruxes...but the battle in the middle of the m,ovie was nonsense and there was no battle at all at the end ...also there was no good description on how terrible is Dumbledores death...it was not a good movie at all!!!!

I enjoyed the film up until they cut out the big battle at the end! wtf? theyreplaced it with a random bit in the middle when the weasley's house gets attacked which has no relevance to the plot at all! and also fenrir greyback was a big letdown, you wouldn't have even known he was supposed to be a werewolf!!! they definitely put too much focus on the romance and comedy instead of the actual plot. I think people who haven't read the book would have left feeling very confused.
