Lake St. Germain, Wisconsin? My friend Sega saw one eye to eye over the weekend, and he said it "smiled at him with a toothy grin!" He was determined to catch him and didn't, and he'll forever be tormented. Nice shots!
there was a muskie off to the right between 2:35 and 2:50 that was freaking HUGE!!! and if those were sauger they were state records. 'sides walleye have white tips and they had em. mabe saugeye? nice video. im setting my boat up with two 'riggers this year and one is gonna be the walker with the camera for sure now. can really get alot of info to view later after fishing to. like structure and that. nice job.
those are walleye no question... look at the big white spot on the tail, just because they have sploches on them doesnt make them saugers. very cool though... supprised the camera didn't get struck at i've seen that before while ice fishing
Hello, i like fishing too, but i fish in china,i am chinese, i also sell many different kinds of fishing tackles to fishing tackles company/importer/distributor with factory directly price and also accept samll order quantity, please visit 3w(DOT)kilter-trading(dot)com ; of course, you can contact with me via ,tommy919(at)gmail(dot)com
the one fish someone mentioned at about 1:05 is a Sawger. Forgot how murky St Germain is. Wonder which St. Germain lake it is, big or little. Those are some prime musky waters, big eyes also as seen by the video.
Those are walleye, not sauger I think. Impossible to tell how big those muskies are, but they look pretty big to me! I'm guessing that is Big St., and since 70% is sandy bottom and this footage is rocky, I'll bet this was filmed on the north side of the big island... Those muskies don't react to a camera probably because they see about 50 million lures a season, many bigger than a camera. This makes me wonder if I have ever bumped a lure off of a musky...
Great Video! Man I used to love fishing for big Muskies and Northerns when I lived in Wisconsin. You can't really tell size from the video, but at least two of those fish (one at about 1:05 and again about 3:07) looked like big Walleye. Man, I'd love to know what part of the St. Germain that was filmed on!
I grew up in St. Germain Wi. I remember muskies and northern pikes one wouldn't want to get into the water with! Wish we'd had the technology back then of today.
With the song "welcome to the jungle" playing I was waiting and waiting for a musky to come up and chew on the camera like a shark.... I'd suggest chaning the song behind that vid to something like... uh simon and garfunkle
How small are they? - I'm curious. I was there doing the recording and although 1 was obviously about 30 inches or so, I really can't tell. What's your best guess?

Saugers do not have white tips on their tails like the one at 1:05. This one does. It's a walleye.

Hey BuzzBait007, didn't feel an overwhelming need. It was just a whim. But, if it hit a nerve for you, great.
Mozart wouldn't have fit.

Why does every amateur video producer feel an overwhelming need to add CRAP music? Sorry, but that just ruins the whole thing.

Awesome video, was that a sunken boat at 4:00?

FWIW - it was sauger - which looks nearly identicle to walleye, just different markings. THe markings are a dead giveaway.
