love your wires at monoprice very affordable i am using ur 16awg in wall speaker wire for runs for about 40-10 ft runs on a 110w rms amp they work awesome coulnt ask for more
The fatter (lower number awg) wire the less resistance from the amp to the speaker specially on longer runs .This also helps keep the amp(s) from over heating . I'd go no less than 14awg , but preferably 12awg .
