HTC Desire HD 3G wont turn on properly FIX

Took a European HTC Desire to the US (T-Mobile) and mobile internet is not working on this device, only WiFi. Your video allowed me to at least get 2G - THANK YOU for posting this!

I tried, but unfortunately it wasn't working in my case. However, when I selected "Reset to default" from the APN names screen's menu, I got back the mobile internet. Don't know what caused this, I suspect some recently downloaded application was tampering with mobile internet settings.

(Settings -> Wireless & networks -> Mobile networks -> Access point names, press Menu, select "Reset to default")

@adamjgh have you tried changing the apn name to internet. or creating a new apn with the credentials outlined in the video?
