Nobody was criticize him, we must admit François de Roubaix like a cinema composer. (from 1:33 to 1:43)
In the music of the movie, he was one of the firsts that was using synthetizers, that seems us old now. (from 1:43 to 1:57)
We must admit he is the symbol of all that happened after. On manufacturing, I perceive myself as a craftsman, not as an artist I am out of all this. (from 1:57 to 2:09)
François de Roubaix, himself, were an editor sound because, when I saw the movie « Le vieux fusil », I was noticing the music, the theme kinda nostalgic of the credits of the beginning an the credits of the end who was « chating » on a light rhythmic of jazz with two pianos, an upright piano and a forged piano, recorded in half speed. (from 1:10 to 1:32)
How explain his route? Before all, that was him who was making his own sound with all his ideas. He were using acoustic instruments. (from 0:58 to 1:10)
This is my translation. Im sorry my English sucks but I hope you’ll understand what it means.
He was playing all kinds of music and especially he had this peculiarity that I never seen on others musicians. There was those who was playing and those who was listening, they was people like me who liked jazz but they did not play because they could not. (from 0:09 to 0:29)
Probably, when he was swiming, he was hearing melodies that he restored after (from 0:35 to 0:41)
