@NikoYasha Nah, its not that expensive... bought it for about... well, im from norway so the amount i spent roughly equals 23 dollars. And remember if youv'e got vista, dont bother it wont work not even in compatability mode, theres something with the game launcher that restricts you from using vista and win7. kinda wierd, but the game is good though. if you've got vista then buy obscure 2 though, heard its good too. but i repeat: not buy number 1 without xp (ive got both xp and vista, checked)

i just got this on the 19th for my bd and its awesome ive got to the part where ive rescued kenny and i just got out into the courtyard =D its awesome... better than silent hill 2...they speak more and the monsters are quicker and the games less comfusing!! 5/5 compared to all the games ive played!!

sorry for my reply, yeah i know all about special, i comepleted it, on hard.. the last boss is easy compared to some other levels, like when your in a small little corridor with three Elite darklings(if you new what they were called..) and you have to kill them all.... i used a light grenade and shotguned em.. itd be easier if you had the laser though.. that laser is cool!

CAn any one give opinion of whether its worth playing in special mode or trying to use the special bat or laser gun? Are there any extended movies or a diffrent ending??I have part 2 but I want to make sure I saw everything there is on part 1

You get two ending. The good ending is that everyone lives, bad ending is someone dies. That is all.

Special Mode you just have those cool items (and small costume change) in the normal mode you just have everything well normal.

I hope that at least answers some of your questions. And sorry for the kinda late reply.

best game i got in my ps2 game... i completed the game on the hardest mode using the unlocked extra files... and omg... it just went on.. and shannons costume was wierd!
