@zerotwosoul Compare the maps of the two areas from the pause screen. Forest Navel is like one big blob and Valley of Repose is all long and twisty. And unless the Pikmin Planet's tectonic plates are all out of whack, I don't think the Forest Navel would have bursted out from underground into the sunlight in the 2 minutes Olimar was gone between the two games.
Pikmin 1 and 2 are among the best games I have ever played. It is an amazing concept combined with many breath taking moments. These include finding your first pikmin, defeating your first boss, etc. You can't get that experience from a modern shooter or anything. These games also had the best damn soundtracks I've ever heard.
If I had a pet Bulbmin mother, then it had a bunch of Bulbmin, I could make them bring me sodas. Not that they would be slaves; if they don't want to work for me, they don't have to. And I would still take care of them. But if they seem interested in carrying things, it would be worth it to go get my sodas for me. :D
I also want a pet Waterwraith. I know that sounds horrible, but think about it. Pikmin are an inch tall. A Waterwraith would be about 1 ft.
Well, my house has a huge problem with spiders, and they never climb on walls, but rather walk right around the living room floor when I play Xbox or Wii. So...

The Forest Navel was my favorite area in Pikmin. I wish they brought it back for Pikmin 2. (For those of you who don't know, Awakening Wood = Forest of Hope, Perplexing Pool = Distant Spring, and Wistful Wild = Impact Site and Final Trial on steroids.) Mabye in Pikmin 3, although I'm also hopeing for more new areas than there were in Pikmin 2.

actually when you're playing the game, it sounds even MORE ambient, alot of these songs are the official ones that were touched up for download, but the version of the songs played while you play sound different.
when i finnally beat this game 100% i was soooo happy this and the distent spring were hard for me but i did them and after the 100% run i didn't have trouble with this level anymore.
I'm so close to beating it too, I'm stuck on the guy in this level who poisions your pikmin and makes them kill you and all, He has my 29th part too, it scared the living shit outta me having the pikmin try to kill me, it terrifies me for some reason, I've grown such a bond with them I guess, working with them for 28 days and all, it's kinda strange
I guess the reason why this level is so enjoyable is because of the darkness feel to it, the fact that it's somewhat hard, and the fact that it's the midway point in the game for being the third out of five levels. But I'm not sure if it's the absolute best... I do really like Wistful Wild from the second one. (At least the music anyway.)

The music in this place is so awesome yet the sound effects are so much louder then the music. Oh well, I guess I can at least here the wollywog's coming. lol
The main time part of this track isn't that great,but the part around sunset is awsome.I remember pressing the pause button,just because I wanted to listen to it.<3
Whenever it's time to get the parts that involve moving through the beach, I take 100 Red Pikmin and go on a killing spree on those blowhogs (and one wollywog). :)
This music reminds me of a western/country type of music for some reason.

louie lands where the analog computer was, the red onion starts at where the libra was, frontier cavern is where the old landing site was, etc.
its not exact, but its definetely not a unique level, which I've heard many people claim it is.

actually when you're playing the game, it sounds even MORE ambient, alot of these songs are the official ones that were touched up for download, but the version of the songs played while you play sound different.

when i finnally beat this game 100% i was soooo happy this and the distent spring were hard for me but i did them and after the 100% run i didn't have trouble with this level anymore.

I'm so close to beating it too, I'm stuck on the guy in this level who poisions your pikmin and makes them kill you and all, He has my 29th part too, it scared the living shit outta me having the pikmin try to kill me, it terrifies me for some reason, I've grown such a bond with them I guess, working with them for 28 days and all, it's kinda strange

ahh the puff stool yeah i had a big bond with my pikmin to. and since mushroom pikmin are creepy and hard to shake off...
what i did was take a lardge amount of reds and attacked and when he was about to use the attack i called them. it's kinda a timing thing.

I guess the reason why this level is so enjoyable is because of the darkness feel to it, the fact that it's somewhat hard, and the fact that it's the midway point in the game for being the third out of five levels. But I'm not sure if it's the absolute best... I do really like Wistful Wild from the second one. (At least the music anyway.)

The main time part of this track isn't that great,but the part around sunset is awsome.I remember pressing the pause button,just because I wanted to listen to it.<3

Whenever it's time to get the parts that involve moving through the beach, I take 100 Red Pikmin and go on a killing spree on those blowhogs (and one wollywog). :)
