3DS Hands-On Impressions and Reactions!!!!!!

I agree that as a general rule Gamestop hates Nintendo, but...I have actually found a gamestop that is close to my apartment where the manager loves Nintendo. This guy taked up the 3DS so much that he already got over 50 reservations (me included) and they got a green light from Gamestop to do a midnight launch event. I can't fucking wait!

Played the 3DS for the first time today @ Best Buy. 3D is a gimmick.

My 6-year old son and 8-year old daughter are Nintendo fans, and it didn't impress them one bit playing Pilot Wings. They played the iPad 2 more and would rather have that. I can't believe you suckers are wasting $250+ for this piece of shit and Pilot Wings graphics were still garbage whether the 3D was turned off. You Nintendo fans are as dense as the iSheep. The 3DS was left alone alot when I was there.

I got a chance to play the games today, and they are brilliant, the 3d work fantastic both on game and live. there are both pop out and reach in 3d moments. this console is a day one buy for me. I did it with cube, ds fat, lite, wii, and now 3ds. woohooooo!!!

the 3d is pretty much a gimmick. you have to look straight at the screen, moving slightly to the side loses the 3d effect but the effect looks good.

Dude I'm seriously hoping they re-release SM64 DS for the 3DS in the near future, that way it can have analog sensitive controls like the original N64 version, I found it harder to play using the Dpad and having to hold down Y to run and do the traditional moves.

I actually did get to try the other features in the system and I've gotta say playing around in the 3DS menu system alone is a treat. Face raiders is an awesome game I will say, also I never knew I wanted to take pictures in 3D til I tried it and wow it's unreal. I took a picture of the store shelves and they popped out at me. Also you can edit photos alot like the photo channel on the wii you can draw put stars in and more. Those graphics and drawings pop out of the screen as well but doesn't
