I SO agree! I only realized since I grew up and moved out how ridiculously spoilt I was when it came to housechores, my parents never made me do anything except tidy my room now and then. Not just that it's a good habit to get into, but also imagine how happy your parents would be if you did some of their chores for them! I would be so grateful if someone offered to do something for me :) and nowadays I wish I had been more helpful when I was living at home. <3

You're right about helping parents before you move out. My parents and my husbands parents never made us do chores and when we first moved in together everything was a big deal. We're much better than we used to be, but once we have our own children I'll definitely have them help out around the house. It's just a good habit to get them into.
