You're extremely talented. I can assure you that there are many people who aspire to have half the skills you do. I look forward to see your name in lights in the future. Keep up the good, no, amazing, work!
@mutube15 I'm into the heavier styles of music, such as rock forward through to death metal, i started listening to opeth and found they had classical roots, so i looked into some classical music and my playing/knowledge just musical ability in general has improved no end. so yes i agree with you.
Sweet! i really like the sound that ur Bass makes. its like a vibration... ok, that sounds a little weird but its true. let us know what its like in Paris.
I wanted to ask you when you do this technique on the Bass does a very good quality Bass versus a no name brand inexpensive Bass make it more difficult to play this way I ask cuz when I try to do it on my Bass(cheap) I have to pres so damn hard to get sounds Help please
a 24 frett is better for that buzz, and more tension helps. Id like a five string that goes low e to high b. Not the other way around. Ive never seen one.
a high c would be more natural for a base, but if you need a higher string you can just buy yourself a normal 5 string and get a 6string set and put away the low b =)
@LuchoMucho1969 Yes, the bass makes a difference. I've got a Yamaha RBX 270 that has some trouble doing this style of stuff, and sounds bad doing it too. Upgraded to a Schecter Stiletto Extreme 4 and the active pickups and just better hardware with a 2 band EQ really lets me choose what I want it to sound like right from the bass itself, no need to make changes to the amp at all.
This is amazing... this is really gr8.. I've got an uncle that knows hot to play like that.. but I can't :( But I think this is great..!! I really =) Keep it up..!!
ok so your general idea is great, ya know who doesn't wanna be at a point in their ability to play to just solo.?? But, like you said you made some mistakes a lot of just minor finger placements, but just my critiscism for the most part everything sounds good but it sounds like three different songs, just some of the pieces of the solo together and make a couple songs it just doesn't all click very well, transition wise. just my advice one skilled bassist to the other
awesome! is there a website where I can learn to play my bass using both hands??

Tapping = something you do in your basement (alone) for fun.
Bass playing = something you do in a band and get paid.

wouldnt the slot up before the head be too big and send the string buzzing twice as much as a B anyway.

lowering your action should help if you dont know how there are plenty of tutorials on the web that can help
