Bit by bit the goal of most churches became Sunday attendance and worldly acceptability rather than a transformed life. Preaching the Word & boldly confronting sin are seen as back wardness, ineffectual means of winning the world. After all, those things tought driving most people away. Preaschers are struggling to offer what people want, create a friendly, comfortable environment & feeding their strongest urges. Many would warn this preacher to make His message less offensive. How Sad!

Today's preachers have built arena-sized church, packed with thousands of people every weekend. Sadly to tale, most of them are selling snake oil there. Their message rings hollow. They preach prosperity theology-"name it and claim it" Christianity. They mislead people by telling what they want to hear - that you deserve that bigger house, new car, nice vacation, job promotion, ect.
