This movie is very similiar to Being John Malkovich in terms of the intellectual level of the jokes, and the akward situations. I personally thought it was amazing, both deep and hilarious (in a random kind of way). The cast is stacked, I highly recommend this movie.

Great film, horrible trailer. The girlfriend was much more a minor character. They way they focus on her makes this seem like a Romantic Comedy. No, it's a dry, witty, comedy with so many emotions and so much quality in the emotions, that it leaves at least me hollow at the end. Like a Wes Anderson movie.

is everyone sure that the song at 0:40 seconds is "Knock Yourself Out" -Jon Brion. I know he did the entire score and the guitar is exactly right, however the part at 40 is slower than the album version and goes "oohhh ohhhhh ohhhh" while the one on the album that i have is faster and goes strait into the harmonica part. no "oooohs" haha

I'm still really confused, but it was a really fantastic movie. Jude Law is absolutely amazing, and might I add, horribly good looking, Jason Shwartzman is terrific, and Mark Wahlberg, oh man, his character was hysterical. I suggest everyone watch it.

Saw this film at the AMC in Montreal... remember thinking how taken I was with this film.

Everything about this work is pretty amazing: acting, writing, cinematography.

All members of the cast bring their own essence to the fold. One of the best films i've seen in my life.
