I remember when Peter Gabriel came to Mexico on the Secret World tour. When Sinead O’Connor came out to the stage wearing a Mexican dress, a jorongo (as its call in Mexico the poncho) and barefoot, she received a standing ovation before she was introduced. She was surprised and thankful.

This was the worst concert organization! I was there, dying to see PG and the nasty organizers in Turkey made the concert a nightmare. A month later, I was in Firenze watching the real gig which was perfect. I still hate Ahmet San for that day. PG himself was not happy at all, with the protocol in front having no idea what's going on. So he called the real audience in front.

Wow - I was at this concert , seems like only yesterday! Sinead O' Connor opened with an amazing version of ' I am stretched On Your Grave'

I was teaching English @ Cinar in Konak ,Izmir, 1992-1994. Cok guzel !!

Also, I suggest adding tags for Sinead O'Connor. It is hilarious to see her bopping around... and I have never seen footage of her from this concert tour.
