Installing & Configuring SickBeard on Mac OSX 10.7

i can get all the way to step 5 then i cant select “sabToSickBeard.py” selected under scripts because there is no script drop down menu any help please

Do you have to keep terminal running for sickbeard to work? As it is, when I try quitting terminal, I get a warning that closing terminal will terminate the running processes "login, bash, python???"

I got the Scripts folder to show, but sab does not give me an option to select the scripts, it just shows None or Standard. So it does not see the .py scripts.

Can anyone help me? :(

Thanks for the tutorial. I set it up and rather than choosing the script from the menu, I typed in the name of the script and Sickbeard had Sab+ downloading my shows. I realized that it wasn't doing the script, so I had to go in and add the script folder. I would have saved time if I had read the comments, but I figured it out

So when im downloading ANYTHING on SABNzbd, do i have to select the category EVERY time? So lets say im downloading a movie and a tv show. They both just show up as the default category.

Thanks for the tut you probably saved me from days of research and headaches. The only snag I ran into is the scripts column was not showing up in categories and thanks to @ drkilcourse comment " go open SAB go to Config>Folders>(Post-Processin­­g Scripts Folder) and enter: "Library/application support/Sabnzbd/scripts" It now shows up. Great Job and thanks again!

I've done everything exactly as described in the video and at about 19:20 where I have to select 'sabToSickBeard.py' I am only able to choose between 'Default' and 'None' what can I do?

i used the path that drkilcourse gave but it wasn't the right path for me, find the exact path via Terminal.

Thank you for the tutorial :) But i can't figure out why SAB is not downloading. I setup the tv shows in sickbeard and I see it in SAB waiting to be download. Also i encounter when setting up my provider I click and NBZ Matrix and add user and etc. I notice come back to the provider setting it save

After installing Cheetah I got the message: "One or more C extensions failed to build.

Performance enhancements will not be available.

Pure Python installation succeeded." Problem? What should I do?

I installed it and had it working great aside from a few tweaks that must be made that were not listed. but after restarting the computer it I cant open it again I know I'm missing something any help would be appreciated!

entire "Script" section not showing up in the SAB Categories section. help?

@Airrik0 check if you have the correct path for the script folder in SABnzbd (Settings > Folders). It should be located in Finder like this: Library > application support > SABnzbd

Otherwise, SAB won't look for scripts so added scripts (and the option in general) will not be shown in SAB.

@Airrik0 As long as you followed the video directions this will work! You'll need to go open SAB go to Config>Folders>(Post-Processin­g Scripts Folder) and enter: "Library/application support/Sabnzbd/scripts" SAB wont give you Scripts drop-down menu unless you link it to actual location of the scripts folder! hope this helps
