Definitely one of my favorites on the console. It's more of an atmospheric game than a high action scrolling shooter set underwater (which is what everyone expected it to be apparently). Though I will admit, the game is really an acquired taste.

I'd get so lost and scared of this game as a kid, just like Kinc1967, I'd just enjoy trying to go as high as I can above the water, doing flips and shit. hahaha

I agree with you all, some parts of the game, specifically the music, can be a little frightening, but nevertheless it's entertaining.

I remember a few Sega games that creeped me out as a kid, and this was one of them. The biggest one was defenitely "The Ooze".

It was the scream that got to me. That and the...infinite blue....and the crabs looking like metal spiders....vortex mother...and...y'know what most of it.

That didn't stop it from being awesome.

I can't wait to see the rest of this playthrough, I never really made it far in this game. It's really difficult! I had to use cheats to see what most of the levels were like :P
