Not sure why you folks are debating religion and the bible in response to this video. The person who created this video considers themselves an atheist and believes in the power of all energy working together for a better good. They do not appreciate nor espouse any religion and in fact detest it.

Pretty song. Nowhere near the truth, alas. Actually, the bible is so vague, so large, and so filled with inconsistencies that you can ALWAYS make it say whatever you like. That's why even though Jesus himself prayed that his followers would be 'one', there are now nearly 40,000 official denominations (divisions) of christianity, each of which is convinced that all the others are wrong and that they alone have the Truth.

the 40,000 denominations are not divisions and they each fulfill a purpose within the global bride of christ, unfortunately there is division amongst us but God is helping us to sort ourselves out! there is some incredible unity within the global church which people don't want to focus on.

The only reasonsthere are so many denominations is because people have their own opinions and they refuse to give them up even if it means breaking away from other christians and starting a new sect or denomination. @Imaginefree69 ok you need to read the bible for youself because no where does it say that humans are made out of dirt, or that the earth is flat or that the sun revolves around the earth. Animals did appear after man and before woman. it gives one example each of a serpent and a donkey talking. it doesnt say that all snakes and all donkeys always talk. The serpent was satan tempting adam and eve and the donkey talked because God wanted it to and God certaintly has power to make animals talk.

HUMANS MADE FROM DIRT: The bible says humans are made from dirt. Or dust, if you prefer. Genesis 2:7, 3:19 Or that man was made from dirt and woman from his rib. Genesis 2:21 - 24 Depending on which version of Creation you read. Science tells us that the ocean is the womb of life on earth. As neither of us was there to observe the process, let's look and see what humans are really made of: Hmmm... Nearly all salt water and a few minerals. Sea water.

Isaiah 40:22 says the earth is a CIRCLE (Hebrew CHUWG).

Circles are flat, see any dictionary.

(DURE is Old Hebrew for "sphere", but Isaiah used CHUWG)

Daniel 4:10-11a tree that is as tall as the heavens

can be seen from everywhere on the earth

Matthew 4:8 has Jesus viewing the whole earth from a tall mountain

Revelation 1:7 says every eye will see Jesus coming in the clouds.

Daniel, Matthew, and Revelation all require a flat earth.

Well, either flat or bowl-shaped.

SUN ORBITS EARTH: The Bible says "The sun rises, and the sun goes down, and hurries to his place where it rose." Ecclesiastes 1:5 and then it says THAT means the sun went UP by ten degrees. "Isaiah.. cried unto the LORD: and he brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz." 2 Kings 20:9 - 11 "I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. Yet in chapter two the order is man, EVERY beast and EVERY bird, then woman. A direct contradiction. They cannot both be true.

The earth does NOT hang on nothing (Job 26:7);

it is hurtling around the sun at 30 kilometres per second.

Nor is it sitting motionless (Psalms 93:1; 96:10, Chronicles 16:30, Isaiah 45:18),

upon pillars (1 Samuel 2:8)

nor upon foundations (Job 38:4, 6),

nor does it have four corners (Isaiah 11:12).

@Imaginefree69 and about the bats and birds, i havent heard of a passage saying that but it could be that when it was translated from hebrew or greek there was no direct translation for the word so they used the word bird for flying creature. like i said havent heard of that passage.

Of these, nineteen are birds (with feathers and all) but the final species is a mammal. Leviticus 11:13-19 "among the birds; the eagle, the owl, the bat" Your claim was "The Bible has no inconsistencies whatsoever, the Bible is the perfect word of God." Hmmm...
