I just tried this for a new house I wanted. I did exactly what you did. Red candle, put images of my new house on a piece of paper. I lit the candle and said the prayer and kept it burning until it burned out. Is that right? I saw another video where you light the candle for 9 days, so I'm hoping I did it correctly.
@kclark3858 Did you say the prayer daily? Plus if you have a nine day candle you could keep it lit. Now some people use small red candles daily, and some re-light the glass Novena Candles daily. If you prayer hasn't been answered, keep praying!

Maybe people will start to use other saints, and even the different aspects of Mary, and just maybe they will come back the faith. (oh and btw, I'm not a roman catholic. @webweaver101 yes this is true, these are many, many saints that were once pagan gods turned Christian. BUT, this is definatelly the exeption, not the rule. Most saints were actual human beings. Christian, catholic, pious people. Who btw would consider paganism total heresy. These saints would not be happy to be involved in a pagan ritual.

Actually, the Paris Nun legend and all others are incorrect. St. Expedite is mentioned by name in the Martyrology, therefore he IS an official Roman Catholic Saint and is present in quite a few churches. He is very popular on Reunion Island for example. Traditionally, the offering is 1 slice of poundcake, 3 nickles stuck halfway into it, and a candle upon top. A Yellow Candle is also known as well as the Red.
I'm always a bit confused about offerings. In regards to money, or coins, are they to be left forever, to sink into the ground, or may one retrieve after a certain amount of time them so they do not go to waste?
when the process started; the statue used was the statue in the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in New Orleans, where you'd leave the offering. Now since we don't have that option, the other two places traditionally used were a river, or out in the open for pigeons (messenger birds). You have to leave the nickles in the cake (you use coins, not dollars)....they cann't be retrieved, or it will be considered "stealing" from the saint.

Just wanted to share. I did what you said, with a little modification. I was having trouble with my car. The fans weren't working and I needed to get to work and back with a couple detours the next day. I asked to get to my destinations safe and to find a solution to my prob. So, on my way fans kicked on -for that day. A temp solution. It kept me driving for a couple more days.
Then I found a opportunity to obtain a reliable car within the week.

Ah, St. Expedite! Didn't expect to see him in one of your videos, but I'm tickled to death he is! From a hoodoo standpoint, I've never heard of leaving him pennies as a thanks offering, but instead I've heard of pound cake and flowers (red or white).
My Expedite statue does NOT like being held upside down, lol he let me know that real quick. What I do when I'm needing him to help me is I take a length of cord and tie nine knots of it around the leg of my altar while asking him for help, and...
once my need is met I cut the cord free, leave it on the altar with the pound cake, and then (as you say) publicly thank Expedite, whether it be in a newspaper or via a hoodoo group on Yahoo.
Cool! While spiritually I'm a pagan, a polytheist, a witch, etc. etc. I do tend to employ folk magic MUCH more than "high" magic, or anything coming close to high magic. I was born and raised in the Mississippi Delta, so I just feel like hoodoo is in my blood. Reciting a psalm for power in my spells probably seems ass-backwards for a pagan, but like it or not I was raised in the church and those verses have power inherent within them, ya know?
Putting a saint upside down is always a "last resort".....no Saint is supposed to like it. St. Expedite is particularly known to have a punishment of being put into the corner like a little child.

@webweaver101 yes this is true, these are many, many saints that were once pagan gods turned Christian. BUT, this is definatelly the exeption, not the rule. Most saints were actual human beings. Christian, catholic, pious people. Who btw would consider paganism total heresy. These saints would not be happy to be involved in a pagan ritual.

My opinion on it is that if they truly had a problem with being used in that specific ritual it wouldnt work as you are calling on the power of that saint and they alone have the choice on whether to lend a hand so to speak.

Now, I just wanted to state that it is my personal belief that the saints are not ment to be used out side of the Christian faith. (Santeria is dif.) I'm not going to discuss my beliefs and practices, but put it to you like this: the goddess Morgan is not a girly girl, she won't respond to your dove and pink tablecloth for a love spell. The same is with the saints. They were all Christians. They would not find your un-Christian ritual favorable but rather offensive....

Thank you so much for posting this video. My mother found it and sent it to me to say. I've been out of work for 18 months, the longest of my career. I also pray to St. Jude and St Rita, all saints of the impossible. I also wish to thank St. Expedite! My prayers were answered in 7 days after faith full prayer. I prayed for finance relief in a time of dispair. I was dismissed from 30,000 in student loans due to becoming disabled. I also received a tax voucher reimbursement for mileage I had drove for another entinty. This wish was granted with more then I could have ever asked for. It is a miracle! This video is great! thank you!

I've been looking for work for 4 years! I've become so disillusioned lately because all the jobs I've applied to have new staff even though they said they weren't hiring o_O. I will totally give this a try. I've always been worried about spells that had to do with money or jobs because I was worried about free will, but I love how you stated the "if it harms none through free will" part of it.

My hours got cut completely 3 months ago, I needed another part time job, This evening the same job called me and the supervisor said to just give her the days I could work and pick my own shift. Actually, the Paris Nun legend and all others are incorrect. St. Expedite is mentioned by name in the Martyrology, therefore he IS an official Roman Catholic Saint and is present in quite a few churches. He is very popular on Reunion Island for example. Traditionally, the offering is 1 slice of poundcake, 3 nickles stuck halfway into it, and a candle upon top. A Yellow Candle is also known as well as the Red.

I'm always a bit confused about offerings. In regards to money, or coins, are they to be left forever, to sink into the ground, or may one retrieve after a certain amount of time them so they do not go to waste?

when the process started; the statue used was the statue in the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in New Orleans, where you'd leave the offering. Now since we don't have that option, the other two places traditionally used were a river, or out in the open for pigeons (messenger birds). You have to leave the nickles in the cake (you use coins, not dollars)....they cann't be retrieved, or it will be considered "stealing" from the saint.

I have a expedite alter and i'm getting ready to use him for one of my spell. what I would like to know is do you keep saying his prayer until you get your wish, or just the one time? I was reading on about him and it said to light a candle and say his prayer on wednsday, so i'm not sure if I should keep saying it or just the one time and let the candle burn out.

Just wanted to share. I did what you said, with a little modification. I was having trouble with my car. The fans weren't working and I needed to get to work and back with a couple detours the next day. I asked to get to my destinations safe and to find a solution to my prob. So, on my way fans kicked on -for that day. A temp solution. It kept me driving for a couple more days.
Then I found a opportunity to obtain a reliable car within the week.

That would be appropriate. People started putting St. Expedite in the paper, but that's more along the lines of the cult of St. Jude. As long as you spread St. Expedite's name with love and honor (such as a youtube video) you've fulfilled that part of the obligation

Ah, St. Expedite! Didn't expect to see him in one of your videos, but I'm tickled to death he is! From a hoodoo standpoint, I've never heard of leaving him pennies as a thanks offering, but instead I've heard of pound cake and flowers (red or white).
My Expedite statue does NOT like being held upside down, lol he let me know that real quick. What I do when I'm needing him to help me is I take a length of cord and tie nine knots of it around the leg of my altar while asking him for help, and...

Cool! While spiritually I'm a pagan, a polytheist, a witch, etc. etc. I do tend to employ folk magic MUCH more than "high" magic, or anything coming close to high magic. I was born and raised in the Mississippi Delta, so I just feel like hoodoo is in my blood. Reciting a psalm for power in my spells probably seems ass-backwards for a pagan, but like it or not I was raised in the church and those verses have power inherent within them, ya know?

Putting a saint upside down is always a "last resort".....no Saint is supposed to like it. St. Expedite is particularly known to have a punishment of being put into the corner like a little child.
