Ian Anderson has to be one of the most interesting, colorful characters to ever walk the earth. It's going to be interesting to see how he deals with advancing age and the old 'anonymous fate.' What an evolved being!
I'm not one of those old farts who dismisses all the current music, but who comes close to be his counterpart in Pop Music, now?
I think she can sing, write some credible pop songs, command her space onstage, and carry off a wild wardrobe. But, whatever one's taste or era, Anderson plays several instruments well, has written a lot of tunes, performed vigorously for decades, has a unique voice, an athletic stage presence & parlayed it all into another couple of profitable enterprises that continue to employ a lot of people. If Lady G can say the same in 35 years, she'll deserve big respect, too. ...Peace, nomiclas
@pyannaguy LG has already bent my head.i hope she gets the acolades she has earned since she has exploded on the world!your right ian anderson is in a league all by himself.lucia micarelli is a beautiful addition to this trouper.i just love this Mozart treatment.peace to you also.
@BARRIEMOREBARLOW ...You realize I was referring to Lady Gaga, Right? It was from a previous exchange. Sorry if I wasn't clear. I'm a huge Ian Anderson admirer.
This is remarkable. (Leave out the nonsense about Lucia's boosies, you yobs.) It is a delightful re-take on some very familar themes - played by two virtuosos. Talent will out.
Even though his voice is gone, he still puts on a great show, I have not heard any music from the last five years that I actually think is music. These hacks now a day cant hold a candle to this legend
Yeah, it's a shame about his voice. I still think he's amazing. I've seen him twice in concert in the last couple years, and I'm so glad he's still around. So many of the musicians I listen to are already gone. He and Martin Barre both rock.
I went to see this in 2005 live at the CIA Cardiff. Lucia Micarelli and Ian Anderson wow they were amazing. They played this and Griminelli's Lament which I love x
Just remember that this thirty years ago, Ian Anderson was a major pop star. Can you imagine Ashlee Simpson or Fity Cent doing something comparable 30 years from now? God help us.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Agreed. 30 years ago we had artists, with depth, classical training and then they grew into their own with the talent God gave them individually. Now we have "hacks" who copy the music of artists, perform them poorly without regard or appreciation for background, do it for the $ and haven't a clue.
If they do write lyrics, they steal them form kindergarten poets.
Why'd I get 3 thumbs down, except for the fact that I enexplicably threw in the word "this"? I was merely commenting on the fact that Ian's love for music has caused him to continue to grow and expand his music boundaries. Does anyone think Ms. Simpson or Mr. Cent will do the same?

Instead of appreciating Lucia's hands and Face..She is
"Barefoot and brilliant". Ian is a master, a survivor and plays other instruments superbly!

His voice is fine.
If you wanna hear a voice that is shot to shit, but still awesome, listen to Bobby Dylan.

I wonder why she always plays bare foot? Huh? Anyway, I have her CD & I love it. Well worth the buy.
japitt1019 2 years ago
It must be because she moves around so much while playing. You cannot move like that and have any sense of balance while wearing ladies' dress shoes.
lizaelliot 2 years ago
actually she plays bare footed because that is her signature =)

@japitt1019 As long as she can play like that I don't care if she does it in a gorilla mask and clown suit.

Luchia's boobs are attractive than the stupid flute -oral sex- of Anderson. I love to F#@$ her any time from now onwards. I am harder and horny.

Stop being controversial for the sake of controversial. This isn't copying. This is a new take on Mozart. You are evidently scared of the new.
