ok so ppl just know, both Horo and Holo is correct, in japanese you say it Horo, in english you say Holo, same goes for krillin in dragon ball, his japanese name is kuririn.

So stop arguing, both ways of saying it is right, take for an example: here in sweden we DONT say Krillin, we stick with the original name: Kuririn, but thats just OUR way with DIRECT translation.

I was sad that Chloe didn't get more screen time, although she wasn't in the manga, I felt she was an interesting character. I don't know why, but I always find it really hard to like the main protagonists of things. Probably because I like being in the shadows myself XD although I don't mind when I get picked for a main part in a play, I like looking into other characters, like Chloe. I actually felt quite sorry for her.

So far this is my favorite anime and most likely will always be my favorite. And the theme is the best theme I have heard. I have recommend Spice and Wolf to so many people and friends. I hope there is a season three. So I hope you enjoy the show.

It isn't Horo or Holo, though the closest thing in English is the latter. It's Horo with the R rolled once so it RESEMBLES an L. Spelling and pronouncing it with just an R or L is simply incorrect. Remember this.

Well, this proves that Novels are excelent for anime material =P

I mean, look at the Suzumiya Haruhi novels; they were already famous before they were turned into anime and manga, but afterwards, it took the world by storm (too literally in some cases though, but still).

I loved this story because despite it seeming boring on the outside, it's gripping, has more plot than the anime managed to cover and its got a great plotdriver in economy and that's kinda cool =P

I found Lawrence and Holo's relationship quite realistic compared to other anime. In others, they'll play up the belligerent interaction between the Love Interests, as it's supposedly how they hide/show their affection. Or they'll have the LIs instantly fall for one another, yet take a looong time to hook up.

S&W is a nice blend of both. It wasn't love at first sight, and they never truly disliked each other only-to-discover-that-their-di­slike-was-actually-attraction (I hate that so much).

The Novels are a bit stiff translated but beautiful nontheless.

What I liked the most are the comprehensible charackters.

In other Animes it always stops at a certain point because one is too childish

to let real emotions through. But Spice and Wolf is different.

Even as the incarnation that Holo is, she is not too proud to cry in Lawrence arms. And Lawrence is not too shy to say things like " Your are special to me" either.

Just true emotions, all the time.

That makes this such a good story.
