no your system is much to slow for osx86 my 3.06GhZ P4 and 512mb of RAM Rivals my Macbook with the C2D (boot is only 6 seconds slower, mainly because of the post messages on the pc) for you people hoping to accomplish this google osx86. its not hard took me 3hrs. to download Mac (hacked version) and 40 mins to install good luck (and it works 150% better with an intel GMA900)
you don't need acronis, just install xp and then install os x.. darwin loader will be your default loader. If you already have xp then just install darwin loader. Alot of things work for me on my Acer 3680, just the ethernet/wireless doesnt work.
actually the performance is on par with a Intel Mac Mini w/1gb ram, they both had simliar response time, and powerpoint is slow on osx86 anyways as it is not a universal application and it has to be translated using osx Rosetta, it is still a PowerPC app, that is the drawback is alotta apps are crippled because the are not designe for intel based architecture yet, another application that is slow to load is Photoshop, but eventually these software companies will get on the bandwagon,
Does someone know how to format this type of computer? please... I want to do it in mine and try installing windows XP again....
