  • i've heard its going to be about 400 or less

  • @DP719 $400? You must have really bad sources. Some stores are taking pre-orders, and they are charging $150 for the device. The highest estimated price has been $200.

  • SONY should pray Microsoft to not finish natal , before its to late and SOny will suck off microsoft's soft balls

  • why the hell do sony nerds look up microsoft stuff. um yeah i like sony but im not about do diss on something i dont even follow. love ps2 but fuck the nerds that are complaining about this new project. it is all about advancing. sorry sony didnt want to advance their eye toy. microsoft has the money to do it so they did. i dont blame them

  • to slow.

    Processing is to slow

  • Looks very ummm how do I put it...........pricey.

  • looks like shit. slow... choppy.. and the graphics are ass. I'll pass.

  • @adeklis Well duh. The product was not even finished when they made this. An unfinished product is not going to be perfect. The graphics have nothing to do with Natal. It's a totally separate thing. It's a demo to show off Natal. This wasn't made to show off the power of the 360.

  • nice video, thanks for posted

  • If it's supposed to be "under a couple hundred bucks", I'm sure we can safely assume $199.99. It's cool technology, to be sure, whether it's Microsoft, Sony, or Nintendo. I could've went without the bash on Wii he made, what with the waggle commands he made talk of. Kinda made my penis soft.

  • Let's take the Playstation 2 Eye Toy - enhance the graphic capabilities - and add voice. Oh! Microsoft's Project Natal. Right.

  • no. Natal is a lot more advanced than that. Does the EyeToy have face recognition? The technology in both devices are very different.

  • @Goutetsu13

Care to name such things? The Eyetoy/PSEye does exactly the same, earlier, with better graphics, and with more accuracy, and at a fraction of the cost.

  • @Goutetsu13 Advanced my ass. Look all we got from E3 2010 are pre-recored fake demos. All Microsoft is promising you is not going to be as ''awesome'' as they make it look.

  • @06clindsey We get Milo. You get a monchichi.

  • @06clindsey asshole :P get a little info about

compare eyetoy with natal? XD HAHAHAHA u are a jk dude!!!!!!!!!

eyetoy is a shit!, old tech, Natal is very adv. really

its like compare a pentium 1 with a new Cuad core or something :P a totally absurd

  • holy crap. After this, the only possible fundamental improvement of User-Interface is:

    The Matrix!

  • lmfao!

  • 1:24 LOL

  • This is going to be expensive as hell! Anyone got a clue on the price? like a range? And also, Wow! This is going to be the shit at parties!

  • @sader213

    asking price is $6000 u.s

  • So your saying $6000 that! That is expensive as hell! I doubt most people would pay that much for it. Way too much money

  • Dude, he was being sarcastic. They haven't announced the price yet. I doubt they would have a price for it when they haven't even said what the real name is. "Natal" is just the code name.

  • Oh. Well I found out its only going to be as much as an xbox maybe. Not sure on that. but Thanks tho

  • MS was quoted saying "under a couple hundred bucks" - implying that it'll be reasonably priced when it comes to market.

  • 1:28 = epic fail hahahaha

  • Jesus Christ

  • hvornår kommer det

  • jeg synes det er det sejeste jeg har set det er meget bedere end wii . jeg skal helt sikkert have det

  • Comment removed

  • well BAM- There it is.

  • No Lag....BS...LOL

  • Full body motion sense is too much. Buttons are a vital part of videogames. Check out the ps3 motion sensor coming in 2010 it's a mix between natal and wii it's dope.

  • wow this is awesome though i agree i like the controller for most games but now i can let me kids play with out worry that they'll break it.

  • natal sucks KEEP THE 360 CONTROLLER!! IF YOU AGREE COPY AND PASTE!

  • it looks good....though i would still like to use buttons wen i m playing fps or other adventure games......just complete motion sensing might take the fun out of it.......but i still dont know, maybe after i play an actual game on it.......

  • holy crap this is creepy. can u imagine having one of these games and playing online. people are already perverted enough when u play halo 3 and CoD. u are pretty much going to have simulated sex when full motion games come out online. LOL BUT AT LEAST TEABAGGIN WILL LOOK SOOOO MUCH MORE REALISTIC.

  • teabagging with fullmotion...I came

  • HEY NOW MAYBE FAT GAMERS ACTUALLY HAVE AN EXERCISE TO DO NAO! :D BECAUSE I KNOW MOST OF U PEOPLE ARE MOST LIKELY FCKIN UGLY AND Geeks lol. Im glad they made this just fo u lol

  • yeah says the guy with a anime video and were the geeks? dumbass your probably the fat ugly geek.

  • 12 year olds these days.

  • i kno right thats if ur saying it to me 15 years old and i look like im 20 :(

  • If you're 15 years old, you must be a retard.

No 'normal' 15 years olds act like that, not even on the internetz.

  • No normal 15 year old? Shit peoples these days say the same shit have you seen the jokes these days? Anyway this is besides the point it was a joke suck it up.

Stfu i doubt you've never heard one lol stupid ass just trying to defend urself

  • Have you ever heard about "comma"?

  • Is that when you fall to sleep.

  • I'm 12 years old and what is this?

(not really, if you don't know this meme search on google)

  • You are not even using the meme correctly.

    ED some more, bitch.

  • Oh no... I miss the days where you get to just sit on the couch with friends with a real controler eating chips and pigging out. THATS what games are about FUN. Not waking up tommorow with a sore back. Games are supposed to be comfy and cozy. Something to just pick up and have fun with. Buy a workout thingy if you want to do something like this. Each company is rapidly falling from what real gamers want

  • Not everybody wants the same thing as you. What's wrong with making something that everyone could like. It's not like you have to have Natal, to play on the 360. If you don't like it, don't buy it. There are going to be new games for Natal, and new games that use the regular controller.

  • @123you876 Join the world of PC gaming. Use a PS3 or Xbox controller, and route your pc to a large TV in your living room. There you go.

  • Other people don't get it... FULL BODY TRACKING and Thing tracking too!! it tracks your fingers and anything you have in your house!! Will your game on the Wii still track your body if you drop the WIiMote? I thought so...

  • gaming will suck if u don't have any buttons at all to press. u will realise it when u try out this full body motion technology.

no one will want to play FPS or hardcore games with full body motion. There is still a NEED for real buttons. too much motion sensing takes away the true fun of gaming.

  • If Nintendo and Sony don't emulate this technology they are royally screwed. Especially Nintendo, because all the Wii had going for it was its control. They should drop the price to $99 like the Cube or come out with the "Sii" (aka as youcan sii this is superior to wii).

  • that's so fucking cool

  • This is actually quite different from the Wii. Both natal and the ps3 motion controller are in 3 demensions so its actually alot more advanced than the wii's motion control

  • The Wii's motion control sensors can sense 3-dimensional movement too, using the combination of the accelerometers and the sensor bar.

  • oh yeah, like for baseball game, i can take an actual baseball to play and practise. it is ALL GOOD!

  • to me natal is pretty much the dagger in the wii and im sure most of u would agree overall though from wat i saw from the scanner thing and the fighting game in other trailers, with full body controll fighting games will just be plain nasty and i find that hard to disagree with :)

  • good for dancing game

  • When I am playing video games, I am tired after a long day. Or generally tired and don't want to play sports. Therefore, I want to sit back and relax with a regular game controller, and that was the same reason I returned my Wii console and bought the 360. I am sure there are a lot of people in the same boat as I am, and these motion technologies by MSFT or Sony won't do them no good.

Looks impressive though, but don't think I'll be using it. I can play real sports if I want to.

  • cant it be for everything?

  • I am confused,

Where is Microsoft planning to go with this new technology??

They really should have cleared that question up during the presentation

is it with fighting games or non-interesting child games?

  • It's up to what the developers decide. Microsoft isn't psychic doesn't know what companies are going to develop for it. If a developer is imaginative enough, there could be a lot of things they could do. Unfortunately most developers aren't that creative.

  • It'll be interesting to see where this goes. It'll be depend on a lot of things such as price which will determine market penetration, if it's the xbox 720's standard controller or an option to buy later. Those factors and others will determine if this is the real deal and we see a new direction in games or if it's just a gimmick like the Wii's current controls (minus Wii Motion Plus, we still have yet to see the potential there).

  • But in the end, if the Wii taught us anything, it'll live and die by game developers. Potential is one thing, output is quite another. I'm hopeful, and if the xbox 720 comes with it standard consider me on board.

  • Imagine a Fighting Game for Natal..........

  • ever wonder what the bottom of an avatars shoe looks like? BAM!

    *avatar spazzes out*

  • 50 million Wii's sold

    30 360s sold

    worldwide

M$ puts no one to shame

  • It's not about the sales. This puts the Wii to shame, because this technology is superior. The Wii's motion sensing is very limited compared to this.

  • It is about the sales that is why M$ & SONY have now entered the motion sensor arena, they certainly didn't do it out of the kindness of their hearts. Its an unfair dismissal of the wii's Motion sensing .Yes this NEW TECH has more than the wii and it better concidering it is coming long after out after the wii. I would like to add I own all consoles and im not a Nin fanboy just thrown that out there in case lol :)

  • Ps3 just copied Wii but tuned it abit

  • Yeah, well Nintendo pioneered this kind of tech. They did it with 4 controller ports, rumble paks, and analog sticks in the past and then with the Wii. Sony and Mic are just trying to feed off the Wii's momentum. Fair or no fair, however, Nintendo better come out with a hd ready next-gen console or they'll be left in the dust come 2010. BTW, I think the Wii is garbage and I only own a 360.

  • This puts Wii to shame :P

  • Naaah, wii's got motion plus which obviously is going to work better for games, this is pretty much "look at yourself on tv doing wierd things and talking" and it has NOTHING to go with it, except hit the balls lol, I'd say Motion Plus at least has Red Steel 2, Wii Sports, and No More Heroes 2 and Zelda saying to support it, what on Earth will support Natal? Halo Paint?

  • you don't understand proof of concept do you?

  • Wa-BAM! There it is! -_-;

  • WAw-BAM! Lolll

  • Looks alright to control some simple things. Though for more complex game you still will need a controller of some sort to control the direction you want to move your character in. I think Sony's got it right with a combo of motion controller and buttons.

  • Thats exactly like the wii, this is for simple fun video games and its just funn with no controller and voice recognition

  • You really don't need buttons. Your voice and locations of your body are the sword, grenades, helmets, glasses, and other accesories of whatever you're playing. And Microsoft said the game will STILL use the 360 Controller.. Sheesh!!

  • wow.... amazing..... i can't wait for this game xDDD
