OK, nothing can beat old good Indiana Jones films of the 80's but this one was great as well. It represents modern Adventure movie with a lot of action scenes. Harrison Ford, my lovely Karen Allen, Shia LaBeouf and John Hurt did wonderfully brilliant job.

By the way, I just saw another of your posts, so I thought I'd mention, while I agree Raiders grit would have been nice - there was noway it'd ever have been made like it. It was always going to be along the lines of Crusade/Doom. Both of which I like a lot anyway, and don't find TOD to be ridiculous (though it is cartoony), nor do I find Crusade dull. Whilst I would have personally have done some parts of KOTCS different, I can't say it is a bad film at all, I really enjoy all 4.

Despite everyone crying about this movie, and the fridge scene, I really like it. The tarzan scene could have been left out, but other than that KOTCS provides what Indy films are about - some mystery, some whip cracking, a supernatural element, and humour.

You are right. My opion of the movie is harsher than yours, but you are right. It's just that the film recycled too much from the previous films and was a bit to goofy for my taste.

As better as a bunker would be - the joke was despite Indy's age and whatever he gets in to, he somehow manages to scrape though. Just going in a bunker wouldn't have really "said" anything. What do you think was recycled out of curiosity? Don't say the enemy dying as a result of the mystical items power thou because that IS Indiana Jones! :-p

You're right the only one where Indy kills the main villain as opposed to them being killed by the magical treasure is Temple of Doom.

Yeah Indy has more of a role in killing Mola Ram, but still, the Sankara stone is what "kills him - as he grabs it, it burns his hands and he falls to his death. On a sidenote, whoever thumbs down my other comment is stupid.
