I love Trek also and I just received my project one Madone 6 series with full Dura Ace. I am 100% happy with it, in fact it has even surpassed my expectations, but I will say that "vertical compliance" is not what this bike is about. It is still a very stiff bike, but it is also by far the fastest bike I've ever been on.
