I'm pretty sure they were prettending to use them as forceps, which are not used as commonly durring births now because most doctors resort to c-sections if the baby has a large head. My friend had a 10 pound baby by c-section. In regards to the video I am only 4 years older than they are and I find it extremly offensive.
