Could you talk about a few good hand to hand combat moves to keep the undead at bay? I realise actually killing a zombie with your bare hands is hard work, but are there any simple techniques that could be employed while using other weapons? eg. zombie charges and is too close to get a good swing of melee weapon, what do you do to? Holds? Kicks? Punches? Would that even work? Love the series btw.

How about a large rock? Two-handed or one-handed. And probably as a melee weapon, of course, but could test the throwing damage of it as well. Rocks could be easily accessible, so it'd be a good one to try, I think.

@MrLolx2u It depends what kind of zombies, the zombies may be sound type zombies going to any area with sound, no-one said the zombies could see, it really depends what kind of zombie he's facing(the dagger's still a bad idea) but if you watch high school of the dead and it's those kind of zombies(Since they vary so much it's really hard to talk about zombies) then using a gun isn't a good idea at all.

@ChickenClanxRed Nope, if your wearing kevlar armor and a motorbike helmet(keep in mind kevlar isn't very heavy at all) or enough armor so that they can't bite through at all you won't die they'll get bored after a while and leave or someone will save you (or you'll die of dehydration or something like that) but if they can't bite you there isn't much else they could do other than knock you over and try punching you or something which wouldn't do much but it depends on the type of zombie.

@MrMIcoolJ He's wearing plate armor and is trained, he's also using the push force of his palm to knock them down if they didn't die after using the hidden blade which is very very different from a regular knife a regular person with a knife and casual clothes would not live fighting anything more than 1 zombie.

@Arnie1000351 yea would be fked if there was more then one zombie , only real way to kill a zombie with a knife is hope to god hes slow as fk while u stab him in the spine or the top of skull (witch would still take alot of brute force ) as alot of the power is coming from Ur arm strength not the dagger its self also u would want the knife to be very sharp cause it would be impossible to do it with a blunt knife or a flat top knife.

@Arnie1000351 to right u would also have to think about what type of zombie u are up against in many films and game there are different zombies e.g will u turn if u get scratched , is it fast , slow , rely on sight or smell.as u see allot of the people that die in zombie films the don't take in consideration of these elements they just run in with and attack no thought of the things that can happen if u get caught of guard

@Random0955 True but no matter what type of zombie you don't want it close so a weapon with long range that can knock it down or kill it in 1 hit is good, a shovel is a good example but only if it's made from strong metal instead of weak wood, it will probably break then.

@Random0955 Yeah if I were using a dagger against a zombie I'd run from behind and tackle it down then use the knife to finish it, it can't attack you with it's hands or bite you that way, however dealing with several would be very difficult to impossible depending on their intelligence( can they stand back up how long does it take ect. ect.)
