  • RIP Headphone users

  • Fake, carefully edited, tame cat and monkey

  • If I had 1 dollar for every pixel this video has, I would have 1 dollar.

  • she wouldn't have gone to the extent of potentially injuring herself like that. she obviously had babies hidden close by.

  • destroy ? lol male baboons can kill a leopard forget about cheetah's

  • Did you film this with a calculator?

  • @owenivor I was trying to tell if there were any male baboons around, but I had trouble distinguishing the cheater, which could have also been a leopard from the baboons. I'm not even sure who out numbered who.

  • which pixel was the cheatah????

  • 9/10 a cheetha would not go after baboon cz cheaths can gt injuerd this cheetha my have cubs close by

  • @jedq I would aggree with that statement, notice how the cheater doesn't actually attack them, it meerly chases them, avoiding risk of injury.

  • @jedq spell plz

cheetahs can kill a baboon too

  • cheetah: well i'll be red ass baboon!

  • click: howler monkey.. i will never do acid again

  • DUDE WTF I HAD A HEAD SET WITH THE VOLUME TURNED ALL THE WAY UP! FUCKING BLOW OUT MY EARDRUMS AT THE BEGINNING!

  • that cheetah vs a whole clan could have won. if it caught 1 it would kill it and the clan would retreat. if not it would have been fighting still and ran later

  • I missed the "destroying" part?

  • @aguuled No baboons were destroyed they all excaped no lunch for the cheetah or the baboons, unless they get it somehwere else.

  • @tintin8ify Sorry, I know you "luf cheetas" but facts are facts. Nuf of ya. Bye!

  • @tintin8ify Get what? You tried to tell me that lbs are a measure of force and that Newtons are the European equivalent of lbs. You also tried to tell me that "mass is the amount of space that an object takes up".

  • @tintin8ify I never said they were the weakest thing. You're the weakest thing. Cheetahs are smarter than you because they don't make stupid mistakes and mix it up with animals that could wreck their speed. That's the driving factor for cheetahs - maintain speed and agility and you survive. Don't do things that could jeopardize that. Unless it means that you're ensuring the survival of the next generation.

  • @poneyboy23 Well said, see my other comment

  • @tintin8ify Look, if specs mean something - hyenas have 4.6 times the bite force of cheetahs, lions have 3.7 times the bite force. You could go into a fight without teeth and win that battle!

Tearing off huge chunks of meat isn't the point. And no, I haven't gone to Africa and studied cheetahs, I've been reading just like you. The difference is that I comprehend what I read whereas you spout facts that are contrary to the links you send me - as if you never even read them. Cheetahs back down.

  • @tintin8ify No you haven't, that's ridiculous.

  • @tintin8ify Even 50% is a very high number when you realize it can be due to single hyenas. Lions rarely have to abandon prey and likely never to a single animal. You're totally blowing smoke to claim that cheetahs chase off lions or leopards. Unless they are cubs or juveniles, this doesn't happen. Again, if you're trying to argue that the cheetah is anything other than the lowest in the big cat pecking order in it's habitat, you're misinformed and wrong. What I'm saying is common knowledge.

  • @tintin8ify Size of teeth relative to size is not the measurement here. It's actual size that matters and their teeth are small. They avoid fights because they aren't equipped to stand up to more powerful animals like Leopards, Lions, Hyenas. This is a known fact, so if you're trying to argue that Cheetahs are fierce and tough, you're just plain wrong. Single hyenas or flocks of Vultures easily chase Cheetah off its kill. I can read Wikipedia too and do see the 50% number, I think it's higher.

  • @tintin8ify I never said 50%. I did say never, but I'll concede "usually" with hyenas and lions as typical culprits. A Cheetah averages 124lbs, but is thin and streamlined with thinner bones and a lanky body for the speed - Lions average 400lbs. The cheetah bite force quotient is lower than the other "big" cats, also having smaller teeth and jaws. Leopards and Jaguars are stocky in comparison and have little fear of the other predators. A cheetah's main defense is to run. You're just wrong.

  • @tintin8ify Half their kills? So you're admitting it then. Kindness? Really? Look, badgers and wolverines are tough - they never lose their kills and never back down to anyone. Neither do lions. And Cheetahs are not built for head on confrontation and are no match in a confrontation. It's the price he pays for being fast. (Thin, frail frame.) And did you notice how he backed down when two baboons were in the mix? He might kill one, but he knows the rest will come after him and rip him apart.

  • @tintin8ify You don't know much about Cheetahs do you? While a Cheetah can take down a deer, the never get to finish their kill because scavengers come around. They don't stand their ground like a lion would. They aren't very tough.

  • where the fuck was the destruction in the video cuz i saw none

  • Love cats... hate all kinds of monkys

  • recorded with a calculator

  • @carebearnmbr46 Me too but many have jobs and contribute to society so they're O.K.

  • i cannot believe how much i hate fucking baboons!

  • Comment removed

  • @tintin8ify I'm not an expert on the subject, but from what I've seen, Cheetahs rarely get to finish their kill because other animals drive them off. They're fast and can effect the kill of certain prey, but they're not all that tough.

  • @tintin8ify watch?v=KctkoADNnEc

  • Cheetahs are fragile and don't even get to finish their kill. This one was hedging his bets that running fast and chasing the baboons would prevail. If the fight came to a standoff, the cheetah would have to stand down and run.

  • Attempting to out run a Cheetah is never a good idea.....

  • Okay dumbass. Where's the destruction?

  • The baboon's nasty, pink bubblegum asses would be enough to discourage me from chasing them for long. You just cant un-see that!

  • a quite determined cheetah...

  • good cat :] XD

  • @destinyteen disposable thumbs? Are u serious? Figured you'd side with the monkeys. ::sigh:: dumbshit

  • Looks more like a game to those baboons.

  • The baboons of Newark, Chicago & Detroit wouldn't stand a chance with those of Africa. lol

  • wow!! the baboons are strong. Cheetah 1- baboons 0

  • get your pink asses outta here!

  • @babaracass5000 hahahhahahahahaha ur so funny hahahahahahaha!

  • BABOONS ARE REALLY STRONG CReATURES

  • Oh yeah that cheetah really destroyed that baboon

  • brave cheetah baboons have far bigger teeth , it may have been protecting its young

  • isnt that a leopard

  • @pavyowns7 no its a cheetah

  • i want to see baboons getting killed! i hate baboons, gorillas, chimps, any monkey specie damn them.

  • FYI: MONKEYS ARE DIFFERENT FROM APES. MONKEYS: HAVE TAILS. APES: HAVE NO TAILS AND DISPOSABLE DUMBS. E.I CHIMPS; which are Apes eat monkeys.

  • Watching this made me realize if a baboon ever broke its cage in the zoo, I am NOT outrunning it. lol

  • hahahaha

  • that's the brutest cheetah i've ever seen.

  • Sound SUCKS!!!

  • damn baboons are fast

  • People are saying baboons win against leopards but they forget that baboons live in troops up to 200 individuals, of course they can kill leopards.

The same happens with almost every animal they harass, 1 on 1 the baboon is no match for a cheetah or a leopard, the baboons in this clip appeared to be fully grown, however there weren't many of them so they don't really have the means to overpower an enraged cheetah.

  • This is the point Ive been making on this video. No animal can stand up to numbers other then a human. Only trained humans with confidence stand up to being outnumbered. There is another video on youtube that shows a massive clan on baboons running cheetahs away. numbers win every time. In this video the Baboons are just playing with the Cat, they have the chance to run up trees many times but they didn't.

  • I wouldn't say animals don't stand up to numbers, it depends on how many there are, in the beggining of this video it seemed that the baboons were trying to harrass the cheetah into running away but the troop just isn't big enough.

Single male lions take on hyena clans, and bears take on wolf packs etc etc.

So I wouldn't say no animal stands up to numbers, but many victories are gained because of numbers such as baboon troops attacking leopards and cheetahs.

  • everyone is of the same opinion and everyone is correct -i agree with u all -only to add that dont forget female and immature male baboons are unable to protect themselves they rely entirely on the full grown male sentinels/guards to defend them-if in this situation there were no adult males around or near enough to help the cheetah would be much bolder and i also agree it didnt really want to catch one and i also agree it was prob protecting iits cubs by intimidating them-who they can outrun

  • one vs one both full grown males, the cheetah is no match for the baboon's aggression and weaponry

  • Cheetahs will catch and kill baby or young baboons sometimes, but those adults looked too big for that. I'm guessing it was either a female driving them away from an area where she had young cubs/ would soon give birth, or a big male stirring things up and showing those monkeys what a badass he is. :)

  • @critterfreek82 cheetahs have as big a bite force as leopards, a cheetah could DEFINITELY kill a big female, but even lions have trouble with the males

  • @Cheetree1 Well said. The male yellow baboon is nearly twice the size of a female and can wegh up to 44 kilograms, which is still lighter than a cheater but their canine teeth are as long as a lions. Male baboons are more expendable than females when it comes to procreation, and are therefore the protectors of the troop, this is why they are so much more formidable. If there are no males around to protect them the females will be at risk to a cheater

  • Cheetah leopard chase baboons to protect their cubs.

  • how interesting

  • I have never seen a cheetah chasing baboon's before it's usually the other way round what a brave cheetah baboon's are even known to kill leopard's.

  • yeah and sometimes the baboons dont attack to the way the leopard or cheetah react

  • Cheetah wasnt running at full speed. Didnt really want to catch the baboon

  • one of th few times ull see a cheetah chasing away baboons it usually happens the other way.

  • Baboons has the last laugh....nice title to catch the attention of people...haha...keep it up...

  • cheetah didnt destroy anything, nice false title of the video. If the Baboons turned all together on the cheetah it would be killed quickly.

  • not very likely. The cheetah would've killed one and the others would run.

  • @SlashTheGuitarist You don't know what you're talking about.

  • @poneyboy23 Actually I do troll. Please stop scrolling through the comments looking for an argument.

  • @SlashTheGuitarist Do tell - what do you know?

  • @poneyboy23 ughh... What is it that you want to know about big cats or primates? Go on wikipedia if ur so interested...

  • @SlashTheGuitarist Like I said and you just confirmed, you don't know jack.

  • @poneyboy23 Well when you can prove that you even know what a primate is, we'll talk.

  • @SlashTheGuitarist LOL. Yea, I think I saw you, the primate of primates running from the Cheetah in this video. Or were you one of the apes in the new Planet of the Apes movie?

  • @poneyboy23 Yeah, I was the chimp.

  • No it wouldn't. In that case the Cheetah wouldn't be listed as a predater of a Baboon.
