  • Its hard to do the vegan thing and not look like a cancer patient. You've got to consume an a large amount of food to keep some mass on your body.

  • @chadpopstar -.- too much of anything is bad. He's not saying eat LOTS of meat. Also saturated fat isn't the only cause of heart attacks. Depends on factors like exercise and genetics as well my brother.

  • @chadpopstar Read the CLINICAL studies, saturated fat does NOT cause heart disease. OXIDATED (not regular) cholesterol, and inflammation causes heart disease. What causes? Sugar, processed foods, most grains and hydrogenated vegetable oils. The french eat very high saturated fat diet, and they have the lowest heart disease.

  • @vicky2c How come there are a lot of vegan body builders smaller than non-veg*n body builders? Ones that don't use steroids, that is. You can be a body builder eating meat or without eating meat.

In fact, recent studies have linked FRUIT sugar (i.e. from whole, unprocessed fruit) to CANCER. Science has long shown that eating lots of fruit can cause WEIGHT GAIN! Studies show slim people can have

    disease-promoting fat around vital organs. Eat animal protein/fat and be healthy!

Meat... even most of the agricultural resources are used to feed the farm animals. And yet people are are saying the solution is to eat more of it, provided the animals eat grass before they're murdered?

  • Vegan, vegetarian and raw food diets are not for everyone. I was a vegetarian, then into raw food. I used to have green smoothies - made with cold pressed green powdersmade fr broccoli, cabbage, kale, etc. but I NEVER felt good. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism- low thyroid. Women that eat lots of raw and fermented cruciferous veggies-i.e. goitrogens- are at higher risk. So I stopped eating that and put organic pasture raised meat in my diet and avoid chemicals in food, hair products, etc.

  • @Cairokmt thatll work for any diet in which you dont eat enough. i tried the Standard American diet and felt like crap. i ate chipotle everyday. now i eat a FRUITARIAN diet and feel better. fruit gives you life!

    You're eating your own body fat so you feel great now. The vegan/fruitarian high doesn't come back once the source of your high fat diet is gone.

  • @JSpradley123 I'm not sure what high you're talking about.. I never felt like I'm on drug since I became vegan but yeah I felt great after a couple of months and I'm still feeling great! Never got sick since then! I've been vegan for 7 years and before that I use to be sick all the time. Not cool. Anyway I was very skinny and I gained about 55 pounds of lean mass but I still have low body fat. I obviously am not feeling great because I'm feeding on my body fat. You can be a high fat vegan btw.

  • @Cairokmt There's not one vegan diet. Vegan just mean you only eat plants. That could mean anything so don't jump on conclusion so fast. It's like people eating only junk vegan food and feeling like crap then thinking it's because they lack something in animal flesh. Or if you only low calorie foods... there's no way you'll feel good yet that's what many people do when going vegan. Also going vegan too fast may cause problem, ease into it it's not a small change!
