I love this song but wish it didn't start out with a Lady in Black as I think the title was never meant to be taken literally as a lady wearing black clothes, it's ... the feminine fairness that came to him in emotionally dark times that helps a man realize that ... picking up arms against your unfair enemies just perpetuates the cycle of the sin and would turn him into what he hates the most.
