  • That is awesome, I have to start doing something like that because I have a boxer that is very people aggressive

  • @limjunyong I hope it all works out for you! Im sure it will! You should contact a trainer in your area and enlist the help of your friends who aren't scared of dogs to help you through this. Even walking with other humans (safely) will do wonders for your dog. In general dogs pick up fear in humans so its important to get a trainer and friends who are genuine.

  • @limjunyong Boxers are naturally protective but giving them other things to work on during the day will take their minds off trying to be the aggressor. Plenty of exercise, patience and discipline is needed. My boxer is now a Schutzhund dog due to his good will, nature and dedication but every aspect of training is a life long thing.

  • Well done darling. You didn't give up. You did your research and ultimately fixed the problem. Most would have dumped the dog the pound where it would have been destined for certain euthanasia. You are what I would call "a responsible pack leader"

  • @SkydiveCathy Thanks heaps! Yep there was no way i would ever give up. My dogs are my World and if i caused the problem i was responsible for making them right. And yes as I do rescue myself i know all to well the minor reasons people surrender dogs.. Just before Christmas, i had a person surrender due to their family wanting another puppy. They couldn't look after there older dog or risk any confrontations. I guess the 'puppy cuteness' outweighs the loyalty of a life long companion. Take care

  • How very impressed ! you look young and yet so wise , i am so happy that you ve listen to your heart love and intuition ... god bless you !! the would need people like you , your story is inspirational. Hope my English is ok I am from paris !!!!

  • @rotaklif Thank you so much! I am just one person but i do love dogs! I have since learnt a lot more since this problem and have helped many in the same situation. Your English is perfect lol Thanks for watching or should i say Merci :)

  • Wow Kurt well done!! you are a fantastic responsible dog owner and I have great admiration for you. Its amazing what these so called dog behaviour experts say, people are so quick to choose the easiest way out and give up. I have a beautiful rescue dog who has come with some 'baggage' but I will persist with him because he deserves it. Like you I have followed Cesar Millan's way and its paying off like you would'nt believe. Your dogs are beautiful and they're so lucky to have you.

  • @LollyLouLa Thanks for the kind words :) And yes some rescues do come with 'baggage' but if they get people like yourself who are willing to give them a helping hand, they certainly will come out on top! Good luck with it all, let me know how it progresses!

  • Amazing story, i live in the states, and since i was little growing up the family owned nothing but boxers, no other breeds, b/c my mom and dad would not trust any others with 3 young kids, ive always heard they are one of the most Loyal dogs you can own.

Our latest dog, before he would go to bed, he would come up stairs, go into EVERY room make sure the person was in bed, go back down the stairs, and you would hear his body Hitting the Floor, he hated blankets/beds, always a Cold kitchen floor

  • @s4il Boxers are a great breed of dog! One of 'if not' my favorite! They just have something about them that separates them from all others :) And yes extremely loyal!!!!

Thanks for sharing your story about one of your boxers checking if everyone was asleep! Thats really nice and shows the Boxers true side as a loyal protector of his/her family!

    And thanks for watching! :)

  • I really enjoyed your video, you and your dogs well deserve your happy ending. You should congratulate your determination and strength of character! xxx

  • @leilathe1st Thank you so much i appreciate it!! And thanks for watching!! :)

  • i love the "i think people should have a license for a dog, any dog". Thank you. Finally someone thinks the same as i do about it.

  • @AllishunsRule Yeah i have thought about it for years and myself owning snakes etc, we need license's for them so i figure dogs are much easily obtained and harder to control. So it makes sense that we should have more of a regulation on them. Non breed specific either.. To many backyard breeders especially with "pit bulls" and its not making the APBT look good. Thanks for watching :)

  • @rednosepity well where i live you don't have to have any licenses for any animals, but i really believe we need them. i live in a where most pitbulls live, and it's heartbreaking. i rescued a Texas Pinkeye Pitbull just two days ago, and she was in such bad shape, i was ready to go to prison to find who threw her out at the gas station. i really hope that our idea get put into place soon. we really need it where im at. and you're welcome, i always love to hear these stories(: never give up. (:

  • @AllishunsRule Sydney Australia. We can't even take snakes which are native to my state over the other side of Oz. Quite regulated for reptiles. As for the rescue you just got, thats so sad.. Is she doing OK now? I hate animal cruelty we need harsher penalties!!

  • @rednosepity oh wow, that's actually pretty good, lots of people in the US get snakes or reptiles, which aren't native to the area, and just release them when they don't want them anymore or whatever reason. and yes, she is doing okay, i couldn't afford to keep her because she was real bad off, but i found her a real good home, and she got her first vet check, and it turned out she was 4 weeks, had worms, very underweight, and even needed an IV because she was dehydrated. and agreed!

  • its good to see things are going okay so far, asides from B.S.L

i had a dog that was like that back in 08 he was an american akita

he used always have a go at my little brown dog buster he's akita inu mix

and when scraps would erupt it was explsive it sent chills down my spine for

days after it had happend, but thats what males are all about sometimes lol

  • @DogSoldier011 Thank you and yep things couldn't be any better with my dogs :)

Im sorry to hear about the problems your encountered. Its hard sometimes especially when there isn't much help for "strong" dog breeds. We are always the under guy. I love Akita's and wow, what a mix, an Akita and Inu!! Simply beautiful!! I hope everything worked out for you!

And please dont get me started on BSL.. Its a disgrace.. :(

I will be uploading a new video within a day or 2. Its all about BSL. Stay tuned :)

  • I'm so happy that they are friends again

  • @K9Dojo Me to! I couldn't imagine how close they really have become! Ill have to borrow a video camera and load a new video of their adventures :)

  • @quigleyanddressage Thats great to hear your dogs are best friends now!!! Its the best feeling when they go back to being pals. You can see it in their eyes how much more happy and content they are when living as a stable pack :) And awesome that you used Cesar's techniques!! I love Kelpies and Bull Arabs are one of my favorite breeds, i would love to own one, one day!

  • this is amazing,so impressed with the amount of time, that was spent on these dogs.this guy is so special and his pack know it.thankyou so very much for sharing.

  • @mymoleypuss Sorry for the late reply. And thank you for the kind words! It was a bit of a mission when we where going through this but in the end it was all worth it. My dogs have been a stable pack for years now letting rescues/fosters come and go :)

  • That boxer is beautiful. Nice bold fierce looking, but lovable playful dog.

  • @BubbLeeBuu Thanks heaps! Yep, you pretty much summed my boy up there :)

  • if they get in a real fight they wouldnt let go

  • @coreyissexy12 Ever heard of a breaking stick..? If a dog wont let go its easy to get them off. This video is NOT real fights. And just for good measure there is no such thing as "lock jaw".

  • aww it made me cry:) sooo happy for you and the rehab. of your dogs

  • @ladyreaper818 Thanks heaps much appreciated!

And there all good now so it was definitely a happy ending. :)

  • @rednosepity why did you let them fight and why did you record and why didnt you crop their ears thats what dogs gor for in a fight

  • @UNKNOW7V @UNKNOW7V Your kidding yourself right??

    a) If you think thats a dog fight, I feel sorry for you when you actually see one..

    b) Why would I film my dogs fighting?!?!?

    c) Cropped ears? Yeah dogs also go for throats, legs and heads also.. Should I put armor on them?

Maybe you should see at the end where I say "no animals were harmed..."

Its a video I made AFTER i had rehabilitated them.

2 years have passed and I have the most stable pack of dogs. I rescue and never had a problem since.

  • Hi I have the same problem. I hope I can you what you did. I was wondering if you could recommend me some of the books that helped you? thank you. Kay

  • @kaemartkwun Sorry I messaged you when you posted this but just noticed i did not reply here. I hope you have got some of the books I mentioned! I suggest ebay, some places offer international shipping at a low cost or even free! Best of luck with your situation! PM me if you have any questions!

  • What a lovely video. To see you working with the dogs using psychology was wonderful. This is proof that Cesar's methods work!! All those Cesar haters would probably have rather seen the dog put down. Good on you mate!! Best wishes to you and your pack. :)

  • @NattieChristopher Thank you so much. I appreciate it!

And yep have used his methods in the tough times and came out on top! I believe he has saved so many dogs from being PTS from other trainers advice.. I was skeptical at first but after all this there is no way I can say his methods don't work. Anyway now my dogs couldn't be any closer! They go everywhere I can possibly take them.. lol Take them all on holidays also. :)

  • I love how your big boxer was so happy at the beach that he had to run top speed in an enormous circle. No reason. Just running like mad for sheer joy. My little boxer does the same thing sometimes! She gets so excited that she runs so fast she misses the turn toward our back door and ends up tearing top speed all the way around the house. Boxers are real characters!

  • @rmcdaniel423 I say he is doing his crop circles again.. lol

But yeah you gotta love the Boxers! And your little girl sounds so funny.. :D

Being in that happy go lucky Boxer state of mind.. Some would say they are not so bright etc, I say they are incredibly smart! Very loyal and very protective!

  • I like the last part made me smile :)

  • @strangerxxx thanks me to :)

  • looks like ya need to update a little kurt lol pump out some new vids XD

  • @TheAnimalDen LOL...

    Got a get a video camera 1st.. :P

Ill upload some more no doubt.. :)

  • Who is an author of the book you show at 4:34 (the language of the dog) and later around 4:40 and 4:50(this one is probably Cesar's way)? I'd like to buy these books and read. I doubt they all are by Cesar, are they?

    Thanks!

  • @galephys Hi & thanks for watching!

The author is Dr Bruce Fogle.

The book you are referring to is '"The New Encyclopedia of The Dog"

Another awesome book by Bruce Fogle is "The Dogs Mind" Worth getting both! :)

    The Cesar Millan books i have now are;

    - Cesar's Way

    - A Member of the Family

    - How To Raise a Perfect Dog

They are all great & easy to understand, but its worth having different opinions on training & how people interpret dog psychology. Thats why I rate Dr Bruce Fogle as an author :)

  • And you know that people who criticise Cesar saying all dogs are afraid of him, never looked at the body language of the dogs....except for a few pitbulls maybe, but I've rarely seen a dog afraid of Cesar (in the first 3 seasons that is!), it's the opposite! Fearfull dogs do seem to thrust Cesar faster than any other specialists. Without any food if possible... And we're not talking about the speed he gets the respect....

    Farewell!

  • @Martubo666 TRUE THAT MATE!!!

    WELL SAID!!!! :)

  • Ah! Finally, someone else who thinks that it makes sense! ...and applies it! Good work! People need to see it to believe it!

  • Thanks Martubo666!! Much appreciated mate!

Yeah i know what you mean though.... If i was the slightest bit skeptical.. I am now totally convinced that these ways work & do save dogs lives!!!

Imagine all the dogs who have needlessly been PTS... Really sad....

I love my dogs, all dogs & all breeds!! I just want whats best for them! Balanced, Happy & Tired.. LOL

    Thanks again! :)

  • Hello my name is Amy and i come from a dog trainer family in Greece.

It is pethatic to see how many dog trainers dont really care about helping people or atleast trying to help.I want to congradulate you for you effort into making things right and for NOT GIVING UP.Having a dog is not easy no matter the size or the breed.

It all comes down to HOW MUCH PEOPLE WORK WITH THERE DOGS and how much willingness they have to achive a goal.

    Kind regards,

    Amy

  • Hi Amy!

Thanks for watching & the kind comments!

I know what you mean.. I thought the ones in my area were meant to be the best in the city... I had several people recommend to 2 trainers in particular & a behaviorist who has been in the game for 30 years!!

You know the story... I got shut down..

I since have studied alot more on dog behavior & this year starting a coarse to get a certificate! I was careful which one I choose but think i have found the right one. :)

    (more above)

  • I appreciate you coming from a dog training family & can see the bad "trainers" out there.. Clearly you know alot as its how much & how you work with the dogs! AND again as you said, "how much willingness they have to achive a goal" I am keeping the vid up hopefully to inspire a few people & change their lives! I am not a trainer.. Yet.. But I hope my point of never giving up is clear.

Take care & thanks again Amy!

  • I'm having the same problem except no third dog. One is a13 year old Aussie male w/ hip dysplasia and the other is a 11 month old blue heeler male.

I'm not sure what to do but you've given me some ideas.

    Great video. Thanks!

    Patty

  • Sorry for the late reply. Ill msg you in re: to some more ideas etc. By the sounds of things you wont give up! I mean, you looked online for help!! Good for you. Take care & Ill speak soon!

  • Thanks for the reply.

    Patty

  • That is a lovely boxer, big strong true example of the breed! Also shows to all these idiots out there that the pittbull is not the worlds strongest dog!

  • samalexander1982 thanks for the kind words about my Boxer! He is pretty solid & often gets mistaken for a Mastiff.. But I love him either way!! And yeah, If you get a good dog (any breed), they can be powerful etc.. He does get tired alot quicker then a Pit Bull, but short work loads he is fine! :)

  • i think what did was the female.

generally a dog will assert dominane over another dog, if there is a female around, you cant have 2 males and a female as top dogs of the pack, its always one male and one female, look at wolves for this.

  • Thanks for your interest. I have other dogs as well, not just the ones on here. Im sure in the video you can see where Ive looked at wolves for this. I have an Alpha Male & Female who are head of my pack. Also It was beyond dominance at this stage.. Its a shame I was told what I was & had to figure It out on my own.. Im now studying to become a behaviorist myself. To many dogs get put down when Its not needed! I rescue & foster also, so Im glad my dogs are stable enough to put up with that!

  • Congratulations on your dogs and your video! I keep thinking 'if only I had Caesar with me for a day', but we can all do it if we are rigorous. Thank you so much for sharing!

  • Neeadakeen, you are right! Having "the man" come visit would be awesome, but Its not likely to happen.. LOL

So If we put in the effort & be rigorous we can help our dogs!

I went to Cesar's Sydney seminar & It was great! I met him briefly & told him my tale. He is very genuine & comes across as an "ordinary" guy.

Anyway, I hope others wont give up on the basis of a few dog professionals. It seems like everyone has different techniques. Find a good one or be persistent in your efforts! :D

  • Well done. Great vid. There's a lot of people out there that could learn a thing or two from watching this.

  • 6gipps thanks for your kind words!

I dont want people to try thing's they are not confident in doing... Also they should try a local dog trainer/behaviorist first. If given no help like me, just dont give up! Dogs can be changed If we put in the effort. :) Thanks again!

  • Thats so true kreeperrock!!!

The one who told me that wasnt interested in helping me at all. No reference to another behaviorist. Not even a "good luck". Personally I think she was biased to certain breeds! Its seems common here in Oz... I am yet to contact her & tell her how my dogs are doing. Im sure she would be thrilled.. Anyway, cheers mate!

  • When an expert says put em down thats the sign to say get the fuck out of my office and call the trading standards its the doggy equivalent to a cowboy builder

  • congrats! incredible story and video, good job Kurt... IT's me JADIRA.

  • What a *brilliant* video. You are a true pack-leader. You saw this negative situation and you didn't wait for help to come to you - you searched for the knowledge, embraced it, practiced it and made it happen! You must be so proud of your pack - and, you really should be proud of yourself. A great example of the Aussie spirit indeed! Cheers to you and your pack!

  • Thanks clskmstg, I am very grateful that my dogs are happy again. I never thought they would ever be in the same room again! REALLY!

It just proves Cesar's technique actually works...

I believe anyone can use his methods for any dog problem & come out on top.

  • But thanks to all, I am just happy my dog's are living happily ever after. My dogs thank Cesar & his ways.

PS Amy, keep Chubbs happy & tired. : )

  • Wow great story and congrats on being the Caesar Milan January winner. Have you ever considered desexing your dogs though? I think a lot of their aggression was hormonal - however having said that you have handled the situation beautifully and I admire your tenacity and love for your boys.

  • Wow, thanks to everyone for your comments. Just to clear things up, ALL my dogs were "de-sexed" before the fight. Unfortunately this was not the meaning of the males fighting. If It was, It would of been an easy fix & probably I would not of had this video...LOL

But Its a very important message you bring up. Not to Spay/Neuter is a cause of aggression in dog's & in my opinion, all dog's should have this simple procedure! It benefits everybody....

  • Nice video! Thing that got me is how come you dont spay/neuter? I think that was why they were fighting in the first place. Because testosterone in intact males makes them all crazy and they get frustrated and esp. since both arent neutered, they take it out on each other. And with a intact female, you got a lot on your hands to worry about. I also think that besides the fact of doing exercize/discipline, I also think health wise is just to neuter/spay them all to avoid future conflicts.

  • I have been trying to do the same work with my two--your story is very inspirational and lets me know that even though I can't get Cesar to come help, I can still practice his methods as best as possible. Thank you so much for being a responsible owner and for sticking with it and not giving up!!! Very good example to all dog owners out there

  • Scottsag22 - You dont sound like you are going to give up with your 2! Stick with Cesar's methods & you should be alright.

  • Congratulations Kurt! That was a wonderful story. I have a red nose named Chubbs. He has been such a blessing in our lives. Thanks to Cesar he is getting even better.

  • wonderful video.....You are an inspiration and a tremendous PACK Leader Family! Your dogs are so extremely lucky to have you all. Beautifully done......Bravo!

  • Kurt, I commend you for your determination and hard work with your pack. Thank-you for putting together the video so others could see what can be done.

  • Bravo! Applause Ovation!

Thank you for being such a wonderful example of how one can use Cesar's way to save dogs! I have been able to save many as well which you can see on my youtube site :cjanderson !

  • I was left with NO hope. If It wasnt for Cesar Millan indirectly teaching me, I would not of had a happy ending....

If anyone get's BAD advice from a "professional" just brush It off & don't give up... Any dog can be changed!

  • Fully sick! I want this guy to sort my Chihuahuas!

  • Legendary. Full of good advice. I want this dude to help with my dogs!!

  • This video rox, tells you about some of the crap that good peeps who own dogs have to put up with.

Everyone who owns a dog shuld see this!
