Brilliant vid Leela. What looks like the darkest times from this perspective can look like the best thing that ever happened to us in hindsight, if those darkest times serve to strip us of everything but that eternal core - that essence - so that we end up finding it and finally living it. I love the line from the Course in Miracles: 'I do not know what anything is for" which suggests that we don't prejudge events as 'good' or 'bad' just because they seem unpleasant at the time.
