  • I remember first watching this movie when I was younger, and when I saw this scene I had a feeling something really bad was going to happen. Then when I found out she died-- Holy shit I was a wreck.

  • This is like the movie My Girl...expect in this one the girl dies... too sad.

  • I always cry at this scene. It's so heartbreaking and bittersweet.

  • I thought this was gonna be like an enchanted movie, kind of like narnia but when I saw the ending for the first time I got a drama slap in the face. x"( And it still kills me lol.

  • I also cried alot with this movie :'(

  • ='( i cried so hard with this movie!!

  • every time i watch this scene it just tears me apart :'''(

  • this is a very sad movie. WHY WHEN HE FELL IN LOVE WITH HER SHE DIES THE NEXT DAY. cry.......

  • i remember first watching this scene and i was like "oooooooh he's starting to like her! yay his life is being brightened, thank goodness for this girl" and then she dies and i was like... "WHAT. NO YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME D;"

  • I don't remember this scene.

I remember the ones after it explaining how she went there by herself and DIED.

  • how did the dog came across?

  • i was waiting for a truck to blindside her

    where's the good part?

  • I would TOTALY rail that dog!

  • Im a 17 year old cool Asian American, and I have no idea why this scene....troubles...me.

  • Why jess look him for too long.

  • İts fucking touching scene...

  • notice how Josh is wearing like 18 jackets haha love him

  • i did too.

  • far out, it's so sad and beautiful TwT

i cried myself to sleep after i saw this movie. no joke.

  • uuuugh this scene kills me...he realized he's in love with her and then she kicks the bucket a day later.

  • This reminds me so much of me and a guy I was best friends with. We were best friends for years, them when we were around 13 his mom thought it would be better if we didn't have 'play dates' anymore. Then we hardly saw each other. Now it's been years since I've seen him, and I miss him so much... :'(

  • odio esta parte )=

  • ok, they really look cute together, but, i want to see them in a romance movie, ofcourse, with alexander.. haha..

  • Simply Awsome, this movie is the best i ever seen, and i still believe than there will a 2 part

  • Er, okay....dont get whats so sad about it but okay.

  • @westsidepride69 if you watched the movie she dies later... so Bsically it's his last goodbye.

  • I always thought this was the very scene that most accurately depicted any real emotion I've seen in any movie for a long time.

    It always gets me ='\

  • I really wish the trailers stayed true to the book and how the movie really was...

  • What's even more tragic is that this is based on a true story... This is such a sad scene, where he realises he loves her and then BOOM, she dies.

  • i love this movie (and the book too)

  • OMG i love this movie it's like one of the only movies i've ever cried at. D': *starts bawling* jess should totally have said like "i love you" to leslie OMG! *trails off into sobs and you can't understand anything anymore*

  • Just another thing clam befor lost poising is a part of life I'm rellay hard when it comes to letting go

  • OMG i live this movie !!!!! its totally amazzzing ! but itnmakes me cry ... i think this is the best movie ever ! but i prefer the book

  • awwww hes soo sweet wish he was still that age noww!!

  • When he went back to the forest I though he would have seen her but in his imagination or somthing.

  • @JackPritch96 Well in a way you are kind of right. If you listen when Jess returns the the forest and he throws the keys, even though leslie is dead you hear her calling his name as she is alive in Terabithia.

  • @JackPritch96 Well in a way you are kind of right. If you listen when Jess returns the the forest and he throws the keys, even though leslie is dead you hear her calling his name as she is alive in Terabithia

  • @greenkitty82 That was the little sister calling his name.

  • I've cried when she died...but ill cry to any emotional movies lol

  • what make this scene so much more sadder is the fact that this is where he realises he is in love and i just wish he told her

  • @xTerabithiaStudiosx I know. i'm just saying it would be romantic.

  • its would have been perfect if when Leslie's walking away, Jess quietly whispers 'i love you'. that would have been sooooooooo romantic!

  • Q LINDO

  • wow what a moment this scene puts on.. such incredible acting by leslie in this movie. strong emotion

  • Just watching this made me tear up again.. I can't get over this movie. :(

  • We watched this in class. Almost the entire class was crying. We're a bunch of emotional teenagers lol. Even the guys were crying.

  • It's such a devastating movie. I have it on DVD but I have no courage to watch it.. only when it's on TV I'm going back to Terabithia with Jess and Leslie, believing that the life does not end but only changes...

    AnnaSophia is simply great.

I know it's only a book/movie but a few years ago it changed my life...

You can laugh if you want but I don't care anymore.

  • I've just watched Bridge to Terabithia for the third time in my life and for the third time I'm completely depressed. I'm no longer a kid but after all I was sitting in an empty room and crying like a little child.

The scenes in which Leslie is swinging on the rope or calling the wind are the most beautiful things I've ever seen in my life.

And later comes the scene in the museum - when Jess is admiring the IMAGINATION of the artists and at that moment Leslie is dying...

  • lolololololol

  • y didn't jess say i <3 you......YYYYYYY!

  • I think the groudndhouds of Terabithia is way better than A life rescued

  • i never expected this scene was Jess seeing Leslie for the Last time

  • so sad when she dies ;(

  • I read the book in grade school and when I went to watch this movie my senior year of high school I started crying at this scene knowing she'd be dead

  • Absolutely moving scene. I haven't cried so much over a family movie since Simon Birch. :(

  • im want of that people who think this should end like this and not like it really ends T_T

people think this is a narnia copy or something but this movie and book pwns narnia all the way

  • its soooo sad thinking this is the last time he saw her (cuz duh...she died Dx) but its still a CUUUTE "farewell" (<--literally) scene ^_^ with the rain and smiling and slow motion and music and stuff...xD

  • I`m a fucking grown Man, and this scene always gets me.

    Damn it.

  • @MisterWhat I dont get it why?

  • @wyattb995 It plays off memories

  • @MisterWhat awww I find that adorable. Gets me too, then again, I'm female, and 16...

  • @MisterWhat lol

  • @jj56x56 I always need a good dose of Snake Pliskeen action after watching this.

  • @MisterWhat ya it's the saddest movie i ever saw ;(

  • @MisterWhat dude i am 13 and sad movies like titanic never make me cry, but this, this isnt fair. he should have invited her!!!! i love this movie cause it makes me cry

  • @thefifthteen Titanic is shite. Let`s get that clear here and now. It`s one of those movies where your girl pretty much has to beg to take you to see it. It got great camera visuals and a cool ass actor in Billy "it`s a walk!" Zane, but apart from that? It`s the ultimate sappy. That`s them word!

This, on the other hand, is real emotion. It`s good cinema that manages to strike the right chords where it wants to with great effect. An effect we can all relate deep inside.

  • i really love josh hutcherson

    he is sooooooooo amazing <3

  • och so sweet he feels in love with her but then... :(

  • ....and then she dies

  • if she had lived, jess a.k.a josh would have asked her out. i mean i can tell be looking at this scene

  • this scene is so bittersweet...I cried watching this movie :( It was beautifully done!

  • im a dude, not really crying when watching movies but this movie really got into me. i almost cried when watched the part from when jess knew his best friend had died until the end of the movie. i mean, if i was jess, i will be definitely extremely frustrated (plus, when his dead best friend is sooooo cute and beautiful ( annasophea robb is the best! )).

  • @MaFiYas9 I know how you feel.Josh and Annasophia did such an amazing job in this movie.I felt like I connected to them and I cried at the end too.

  • @Craizormon they both are the best!!!! especially annasophia! she is very pretty, beautiful, cute and talented!!!!

  • seriously i wished this was the ending

    my best scene ever

  • @AZNKENNY123 the best scene i meant

  • awww he likes her so sweet!

  • Poor jess...

  • that boy is fine lol.and that dog name is prince terrence aka p.t

  • This is my Favorite Part of the Movie, Jess+Leslie=Together 4Eva <3<3<3<3

  • Dang it! why why why did she have to die! :( This is one of the very few movies I'd cryed at, loved the book.

  • tu sonrisa era un adios............

  • i love this scene! :) <3

  • u are right SBTD911 it really is

  • I hate that ending

I only watch the full movie once

but now I only watch the scene that leslie says "see yah"

When she about to drown T_T

  • i cry all the time about this film... when im in play and im supposed to cry... i think about Lesley and start to cry straight awat

  • sweet

  • Good movie but sad ending. Until the last second i was hoping that Lesie i still alive in his fantasy or maybe Terabithia. But there was only his little sister as the new princess.

Oh, and nobody has to be ashamed of sheding a tear at a sad movie scene. Not even a boy or man.

  • I wished, that he said after her "see ya" something like that : "Leslie!" "Yes?" and than he would run after her and would tell her, that he's in love with her.

  • I love this movie:)

  • The Movie is soooo nice .. :'( i have cried and laugh

  • Everything in/about this scene conveys the childlike innocence that IS Leslie. Makes you feel worse when it happens.

  • I can still remember how the book described Leslie's run in this scene..."That beautiful, graceful run of hers that neither mud nor water can defeat."

    and its true... :)

  • @SBTD911 yeah. my class read the book and we all loved it.

  • @SBTD911 -sighs- sooo beautiful

  • look at Leslie's smile during 0:36 to 0:39! makes you want to smile!

  • This movie is so depressing. I saw this in theatres opening day and I cried my eyes out, even though I was only eleven. My best friend (who was a guy) had just moved out of town when the movie came out :(

The whole cast was amazing in this. This movie is one of the best of all time.

  • its just a movie but it does happen real

  • I wonder.. what went through their minds.. at that....that.. exact moment and not knowing that they'll never see each other again.

  • i luv the look on jess's face wen he realises (and u can just tell by his sigh) that he loves her XD

  • When i first watched this movie on disney channel, i cried for days, any actor that can fake cry is a great actor (josh hutcherson) the last thing they said to eachother was see ya and he realised that they were in love. Traumatized for life :'(

  • this reminds me of my childhood me and a girl were best friends and were both imagitave and we still are

  • They said at that exact scene, when she waved good bye, Jess realized something and he realized that he actually loved Leslie, very sad movie.

  • yh hes lyk "omg this is the girl i wanna be wiv for the rest of my life!!!!" and then he messes it all up by not bringing her wiv him to the museum :(

  • When Leslie waves to jess at like 0:38 it sends chills down my spine, like she knew it was her time to go, and the way jess looks at her Is just simply amazing like hes falling in love with her.

  • Reality vs Child's heart...yeah i know a KID(jess) becomes an ADULT(jess's father) with time...that's sad...that's why this movie makes sad people...that is what this movie means...but all children overcome this period...and jess's younger sister takes on child's heart (terabithia)...that is the life... in conclusion Leslie in this movie means Jess's Child's heart and Leslie's death means Jess out of child period and being mature more...this movie is about a child growing...Amazing movie..

  • the most important scene in this movie...Jess and Leslie say "see ya" each other...and Jess looks at her once again that is the first time Jess falls in love with Leslie as woman not friend...and Leslie turns around and express "goodbye" once again as waving her hand that is the foreshadowing "forever goodbye"...damn..THIS MOVIE AMAZING...

  • Omg...One of my favorite scene.. I cried everytime!!!

This is the last thing he said.. "See ya".. But he didn't know what would happen to her! .. :'( so sad..

JOSH HUTCHERSON IS DAMN HOT and he's a brillant actor!!

  • luv u joshhh

  • this movie traumatized me for life

  • I know what you mean. Took me 7 months to get over the damn thing. Changed my life forever

  • DONT READ THAT FANFIC STORY...

    *sobs*

its almost as sad as the original ending

i thought it was meant 2 be a happy ending.

  • wrong that fanfic has a very happy ending its amazing

  • can i have an explination as to why suicide is funny or did i just misread the whole thing??

  • @TKDAndyC1 Trust me keep Spoilers: he has a mental illness he imagined older Jesse

  • ...um yeah...i still dont get what you mean?

anyway i found it sad, i'll try and find the time to re-read it, see if it makes sense next time lol.

  • I feel so sorry for Jesse. he lost a great friend he did... I'm sorry...

  • This its so sad to watch because he doesn't know its the last time he will see her.

  • *sigh* This scene....ALWAYS takes my breath away

  • it is stupid that he rather go to a museum than stay with leslie , otherwise it was (maybe) never happened!!

  • Lol, Icould blame Jess so i blamed the teacher. Everytime i watch im like..there she goes..that homewrecker! jk but no really. Leslie should have gone

  • Man when I saw that part of the movie I just KNEW something was going to happen....

  • Jessie should have ran home with Leslie- I would have ran home with her if I was Jess

  • Zippygirlmania---I never read this book either, but I read it after I saw the movie. It's a good book. I hate reading but I just had to read it after seeing this great movie.

  • Karindi--Leslie had to die in the movie because that is how the book is written. If she lived, the movie wouldn't have been called 'Bridge to Terabithia'

  • Thank you for your insight karindi1, however nobody cares. Are you sure you don't look like an obese girl that has a tad eating problem, maybe you look a little like Rosie Odonnel, and your freak love looks like a retarded version of Howard Stern, maybe just a little, ya I thnk so.

  • Umm, first of all, i'm a guy not a girl. I was just on my sisters account for some reason. Sooo yeah.

  • This scene was the last scene before Leslie died. The ending for this movie was wrong in my opinion. Leslie should had lived.

But another weird thing is that Jess looks a lot like me and Leslie looks a lot more like my love.

    O_O
