Did you figure out the VRC6 by ear or is there a tool that splits each VRC6 channel? Unless I am stupid, VirtuaNSF blends each VRC6 channel together and outputs it as one .wav.

@HyperFlameGuy In VirtuaNSF, go to Setting -> Channel Mask. You can turn off any channel.

Despite my best efforts, I'm still just a noob. This was probably a little over-ambitious of me. You should have seen my first attempt. XD

It got to be quite the pain towards the end, and I all but lost patience with it.

@NecrophageonIII you know, alot of people hate on the US version, but when you realise that they literally had no choice if they wanted to release the game, you can appreciate how good a job they did in the down-sampling.

@themadmallard It's funny you mention that, I actually grabbed that version just so I could see how they stuffed it into 5 channels.

It's an impressive feat.

I can't imagine people hating the NES version. What did it do to them? :/ Is that some sort of internet bandwagon or something?

@NecrophageonIII well, maybe hating-on is a bit of exacerbation on my part. just more of the old die-hard Japan gets the best crowd that also weathered the dark days of Sega Saturn i'm sure...

I agree with the description. Konami back in the 80s must have been full of a bunch of angry music wizards.

And while the cover is good all around, at around :40 the way the pitch sweeps up is kind of off XD

@ZDST You'd be correct! Looks like I forgot to turn off the vibrato effect that carried over from the previous frame for that first one. Oops! :P
