I used to ride Jap bikes. Nice and fast. All plastic and no character. Then I bought a Harley. Softail. Now I know what it's about. Who needs speed. The grin factor on my Harley is way better than any o my Jap bikes was. So, be as snide as you like Jap bike riders. When you hit 50, maybe you'll see why so many people love riding Harley's too.
Crude I can understand what your saying but I have owned them all since the 60's to present. The only bike that I didnt have to give away when I wanted to sell it was the harleys. The seller of a honda will be lucky to get 30% of what they paid for it in 5 years. My tractor will still be thumping while the ricer will be scrap on its way back to china to be melted down for the next loser.
Buy your rice grinders boys and in 20 years 90% of them will be a recycled toliet tissue holder in someone's bathroom. The harley will still be on the road and still have a market. I own two ricers and two harleys now and rode the jap bikes for many years before buying the harleys. When I was ready to sell the old jap bikes I had to about give them away to get rid of them. I enjoy the rush I get when riding on my sportbikes but they are a poor investment.
Here is a list of broken things on my -80 lowrider, Transmissionchain,2 voltpacks, broken gearbox mounting, kickstand fell off, rearlightbulb broke 2-3 times a week, handbreake seal, bleeder valve ball, inner transmission cover, so please dont call me a lier.

The only good thing with a Harley is the sound, i had one for 3 years myself. One hour on the road ment five hours in the garage just too keep the piece of shit running. But i think the engines is better now. U can probably ride two days in a row nowadays without trouble.
Later on I needed a bigger bike, so I bought a '79 superglide from a dude in Seattle and drove it back to Texas almost 2,800 miles (in 6 days). I had to replace the drive chain in SLC, Utah ($59). That was it. The one I replaced was still the original. NOTHING else broke or failed the whole trip. I did add water to the battery once, and adjusted the valves each 1000 miles, but that is a 5 minute job, not 5 hours like you say.
My 1993 Sportster went 42,000 miles with nothing broken but an oil pressure sending unit. It was $11 to replace. You obviously have never owned a Harley-Davidson, so shut up and speak some truth for once in your life.
sounds wicked ... wish my virago sounded half as good

with that low an idle, you're not pushing enough oil through the engine fast enough. Way to jack your bike up....

I never seen so many ignorant videos of a piece-o-shit bike idling in the drive. HD
So you just spent 25k on a vibrating noise maker to park in the garage?
japanowner 2 years ago 22
@japanowner If they're so stupid why do you watch them? Go crash you rice grinder.
garrytil 1 year ago
@japanowner a vibrating noise maker that the owner puts between his/her thighs for $25K worth of thrills.

The question is: Is this rider still alive, or has he killed himself and someone else yet?
