Not Kansas, not Western Australia but Co Meath!!! holds the record for most combines in a field.

I'm astonished and very pleased. Stunning result.

@Laury79 In Perenjori Western Australia they didn't have the most machine at one time but they did take off 500ac and 495 ton in 24 minute and which is a record.There was 56 harvesters with a total cut of 1840ft

@Davobeff. Just to put it in perspective the Irish record is 420 tons of wheat in 13 minutes from 100 acres and that was with the machines running at half their normal ground speed for safety. Even with an average header width of just 18 feet thats 3150 ft of cut from 175 combines. I wonder if there is going to be another record attempt this year?

at least he got his field cut in 12 minutes, considering normally it takes a lot longer

Ya silage will kick off in about six weeks.Goes on til christmas then the whole crop starts and wind up with maize around march/april
