  • I have one on my Tout Terrain Silkroad. Absolutely fantastic!!

Way better then any derailleur I have ever used. Smooth and precise.

  • how much does that thing weigh?

  • Nice hubs, would be great on a touring bike.

  • For Christ's sake don't make them cheaper. Cheaper manufacturing means the use of less durable materials.

  • Moots Ti YBB are tha shizznit!!!

  • Make them cheaper! Please...

  • @chukchee go buy shit if you want cheap...

  • I have this hub on my Gary Fisher HI-Fi Pro full suspension with a singulator to keep the chain tension. Been running it on two bikes now and it is bulleproof. Really just change the oil annually.

Weight really isn't a factor unless you are going all out to have the lightest bike. You are just locating the weight in a different area of the bike.

Great setup if you ride in muddy or sandy conditions. No more chainline problems, stuck rear derailuers or any stuff like that. Focus on riding.

  • As an Rohloff owner I agree with everyything jspahn says except the 'weight factor'. Putting that much weight in the rear wheel of a full suspension bike messes with the responsiveness of the rear shock. I also had to put a larger tire and a bit more pressure as I kept getting pinch flats.

  • Top notch gruppo would cost about the same as this . Plus 1 oz. of oil every 5000 miles says this is it . Planetary gears rock , Many miles on Nexus and sturmey -archer.... Cheers .. CRITICAL MASS !!

  • Very good except for the price. I wish it were more affordable.
